Butter is better for you. Butter has 3 ingredients, Margarin has 90.

So is Lard, for that matter. "If you can find it". I blame Proctor & Gamble for introducing that Crisco crap 100 years that turned people off from natural lard, to the science of modified foods.

Butter has only one ingredient: cream.
Salt, which is optional, would be #2 when present.
What the heck is #3?

The blocks and tubs of lard on the shelf at the markets, at least around here, are hydrogenated and have preservatives added. Not a lot better than Crisco really. You'd have to render your own to avoid them - maybe a co-op market or real butcher shop might have natural lard, I've never looked.

I knew about the cream. If I make it myself I ever add salt. I'm also wondering what the other ingredient is.

Mass produced commercial margarine is an edible plant oil of some sort plus a bunch of other stuff, some worse than others, not sure if it's quite 90 ingredients, but there's a lot in there. If you make it yourself though, it's only a few ingredients and can be all natural.

Went back to eating only fruits for breakfast. Depending on when and how much, sometimes need a banana around 10:30 or so to hold me till lunch time.

My favorite breakfast is 2 fried eggs 2 toast. If I’m on the run I’ll stop at Hardee’s for a bacon egg cheese biscuit. Best fast food breakfast I’ve ever found.

I'm the same way. Don't normally eat breakfast. When I do it's typically 2 eggs scrambled, bacon, toast & home fries/hashbrowns, tall glass of OJ.

I'd much rather go with eggs and bacon than the stuff listed.

Coffee? That's regardless of whatever is on the menu. Death Wish and Cafe Bustelo FTW!

I make breakfast bowls out of potatoes, bell peppers, spicy sausage, and onion. I make enough for 10 servings and freeze them. Whenever I need a quick breakfast, I throw one in a toaster over for 15 minutes and throw an over-easy egg on top when it’s done and cut up some green onion to put on top.

I don’t meal prep often, but it really helps to have two weeks-worth of breakfast prepared when the semester gets busy.
