Talk about beer of last resort ....went to school in RI and Narragansett beer ( Nasty Narry) was the beer of last resort. Absolutely awful but with a price point of $1 a six-pack back in the day ...🍺

In the heartland of Ohio, all the kids were drinking Milwaukee's Beast (I spells it like I remembers it). Wasn't $1 by the 90s but it was cheap.

There was also Stroh's of course, but that was Grandpa's go-to so I won't disparage it. ✋

Had my first a few weeks ago! Surprised at how good it was ✋ Can't get it in Michigan.

Used to love it. Every time I went to a state that had it, I'd buy a few cases to take home.

Now that it's readily available, I rarely drink it anymore.

I did bring a few cases with me to the track in South Haven, mostly cause dudes will trade me an even better beer for a Yuengling

Yuengling Lager is awesome! I grew up drinking it. They opened a second brewery down in Tampa some years back and it spread all over the south.

Is the Amber different from the lager? The beer I had definitely had "Amber" on the Dan. 🤔

The Lager is just labeled Traditional Lager. If it said Amber it was not the Lager. Did you order from a tap? Because the Lager is marketed as being famous for it's amber color. Maybe the tap was labeled Amber lager?

Wait, wait. The traditional lager does have "Original Amber" in smaller letters on the label. Gotta read the fine print
