The part that stood out to me was when he laid out that the intent (due to policy and presumably the Constitution) was for neither his team or the Attorney General to exonerate or indite (ie the justice department rules apply to everyone in the JD which included him and the AG)..... and then the Atty Gen did, as he promised prior to getting picked. The WH has changed their talking points from Mueller cleared him to the AG cleared him.

The only person in the land that could not be charged or exonerated by the Mueller or the AG (by the Justice Department) is the POTUS thus it goes to congress. If anyone actually bothers to read the report you will get this rather than the President was cleared or there wasn't enough evidence nonsense the WH and your news sources tell you to believe. Instead the evidence is preserved and presented in a way that the will make it useful to the only body/mechanism that can proceed at the moment.

Why all the excitement now then... The reports been out for a month... Did nobody in Congress read it..?? 😕

But, I spent only a few minutes in front of a TV tuned to CNN, and I thought that everyone else in the country must be fairly excited.

And one of the news women on NPR this morning (Rachel Martin, maybe?) gave a truly sad impression of Steve Inskeep while interviewing someone from the White House comm team....I was embarrassed for her...but the dude was great at putting forth Admin talking points with impeccable timing. He may not have swayed anyone, but he's pretty good at his job

Folks in here seem to think marketing doesn't work. It does.

We have been hearing no collusion no obstruction well before the report was released. It was intentional and smart. Credit where credit is due. That is not at all what the report says but there are still folks running with that because that is what they were told, and they want to believe it. Ironically many of those folks chastise others for believing what the lamestream media says while falling in to the same trap. You must remember the only trustworthy person is Trump and everyone else is lying. Some probably still believe he has proof Obama wasn't born here like he said he did.

Once the report was out there the messaging was already firmly in place. Intentionally. And the wait was intentional. They needed their message to take hold. The AG and the WH. Even I went with it for awhile before I read the actual report. It would be nice to be able to believe what the AG or Prez says. I didn't beleive the AG would be so absurd and blatantly misrepresent things. I still had faith.

The noise during the entire investigation was coming from Trump not Mueller. And it was intentional. And it worked. Angry democrats, evil lovers, treason, mad about golf dues, everyone (this has been used numerous times) wanted a job in the administration and were turned down, spying blah blah blah. The shear volume of this crap is unreal, yet a certain number of people are willing to buy it.

All that really happened yesterday is a reinforcement of that is not what the report says. Many have been saying that previously only to be drowned out by the marketing campaign by the WH and AG.

And yes drafter.... it appears as if no Republicans in congress read the report.

Die hard trumpers could be shown a video of trump literally saying "I'm going to obstruct this investigation because I'm guilty of all the crimes but don't want anyone to find out".... and they will find a way to justify it.
