Just saw that. I certainly don't agree with getting rid of a first round QB that quick, and would keep him as a backup QB until he's ready, but I get the feeling he wanted to leave. Probably because he feels that he's ready and can do well elsewhere with a better O-line and he might be right but I doubt it. He's just not ready.

Still gonna be 2nd string in Philly so he’s in the same boat. Well, actually, mebbe a worse situation. Wilson is on the backend of his career whereas Hurts in only in his 5th season and 25 years old. Iffin’ Pickett had a modicum of patience, he could have waited this season out and see how Mr. Unlimited performed. Either Russ would be great and price himself out of Pittsburgh or he would have been mediocre and not re-signed. But apparently Kenny has 0 patience (…and self awareness…) and couldn’t handle being relegated to 2nd string. It’s his second time not handling a demotion very well. Tomlin and Khan probably had enough of his immaturity and shipped him out before his cancerous attitude infected the locker room.

Wow I hadn’t seen Donald retiring…..dang.

Well that’s sure gonna get the Lambs some cap space.

Yeah I had a mixed reaction to Keenan, he had stated that he wanted to retire a Charger and might just retire if a trade came up. Like him a lot but a 4th rounder for a possible 1 year rental? They have cap room but man.

I agree. I think he expressed wanting to leave, so the Steelers obliged and was happy to trade him to a team with an established first string QB which screws him over. He deserves it. Whatever is going on, I'm sure he's showing his immaturity and making bad decisions that will hurt his career. He must think he's better than he is.

Tyron Smith to sign with the J-E-T-S! Jets, Jets, Jets! Guess that means David Bahktiari isn’t gonna be AR8’s blindside protector.

Sam Howell traded to Seattle. Guess that means whoever they draft is gonna start.

Honestly, I saw flashes with Fields. I think if he had a supporting cast (or at least some friggin' help) he would be a good QB.

IMO, they should have traded that pick and used the capital to get better players around him. But WTF do I know? I think they're going to ruin Caleb Williams, now.

The Bears only got a 5th round pick for him? Quite a fall. He’s probably a middle of the pack or better QB vs the rest of the starters in the. NFL.

Putting all their eggs in the Caleb Williams basket isn’t something I would do. There have been far more USC flop QBs than success stories.

A 6th that could turn into a 4th, depending on playing time. Man, once you show the League that you can’t live up to your potential, you’re literally worthless. I’mma sure the Steelers are hoping it doesn’t turn into the latter and Justin can be still be “fixed”.

As far as Da Bears go, they still SUCK!

They did right by him and traded him where he wanted to go, this was poor compensation IMO as I think he is salvageable but the low return was part of the price of giving him his ask. That does show players they’re doing right by them, again shown by extending JJ.

Headed the right way despite piss poor cheap owners.

Won’t matter, Da Bears will still end up in 4th place.

Pretty sure Sam Darnold is gonna be in 4th.

Sneed to the titans for a 3rd and swapping 7's? Seems a little cheap to me, but okay. Probably couldn't afford to pay him.

Hip drop tackle outlawed.

Man, have any of these people ever tried to tackle someone from behind? Too many non-football people running football. ](*,)

All in the name of player safety.

Safety my arse!

Iffin’ they were REALLY concerned about the players welfare, they’d cutback on the number of games played, like all the way down to 14! Start the season later when the weather is cooler and end in middle-ish January so that even the last two teams standing can have a decent off-season.

In addition to a reduction of games, no more Thursday games! The 3-day turnaround is absolutely ridiculous! Again, too many non-football people running football. Chasing the $$$.

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming….

Yeah that’s gonna make an already poorly called sport even worse.

I guess they were running low on options to get the teams they want into the SBowl.

MACS that low trade value was due to his cost for sure, look at what Mhommie is getting and they just sign Mr Bo Dangles at the combine to a big money extension.they couldn’t afford him and field any depth.

Stefon (…not “StephAn”…) Diggs to the Texans for, what looks like, a 2nd round pick in 2025 for a 6th rounder this year and a 5th in 2025.

Not sure how Buffalo fans feel about the trade but from the outside, it sure looked like it was time for Diggs to go. Prima Donna wide receiver. Wants the ball on every pass play. Wants the money to be the highest paid for his position. Probably even wants to be “the face” of the franchise. Kinda glad the Bills moved on, was getting tired of the drama.
