Turned the page.

Morning Ram and youse guys.

Five miles done by 6:30 and headed to the patio to cool down. Gym later. Gots a jumbo CD that expired 6/1, so looking at new rates across the country.

Done with the walk, done with the gym, and done with the Costco run.

Got some wild caught salmon for later. Little bit of salt/pepper/garlic and some butter... that'll steam up nice.

Dealers are open on Sunday Robert?

There's not a single automotive service place open on Sunday here. Not even tire shops.

No service. Just dropped the key in the envelope and the envelope in the overnight box. Called at 7 AM. It was the battery. Need to go pick it up.

Woke up this morning to 81F and 91 RH, temp rising but hopefully the humidity will dissipate some. I was able to get a great smoke this morning without getting drenched in sweat. I end MAVS for his new air conditioned smoke lounge.

Have a terrific day brothers. ☀️😎

Are you familiar with I-bonds? There are zero-risk Treasury savings bonds with a variable APY and are doing great right now. Only thing is you can only buy 10K per year per person of electronic bonds but you can use each person in your family and buy an additional 5K of paper bonds each year when u file your taxes. Last time I checked it was 5.2%.

Yeah, but everything else is good... if one thing has to suck, that's prolly the cheapest.

Only once or twice, maybe. They also paid for towing. My car is like 3-4 months old and is covered by warranty. So. it only turned out to be a PIA.

My Honda battery lasted only 18 months. I had AAA come out with a new one which cost $189. Went in to the dealer and complained and they gave me a phone number to call corp office. Ended up getting a $250 gift certificate from Honda.

Hahaha, yes they are.

My buddy worked for Honda America and was decently high up. I should ask him if he had anything to do with the battery selection. He made a lot of decisions that affected the cost of their vehicles so wouldn’t be surprised if he was somehow involved.

The battery in my wife’s Civic barely lasted 3 years. Mebbe not egregiously short but you’d certainly think you’d get at least 4, even 5.

For the price of a new battery I expect 7 years minimum. I just had to replace mine and it was 10 years old. I didn’t think that was any thing to complain about necessarily but nothing to brag about either. The price of these things is outrageous.
