Happy Saturday fellas.

Up early to hit the road north.

Driving up to Green Bay to see the Union Pacific Big Boy at the National Railroad Museum. 500 miles to look at a train.

I was gonna make it an overnight trip but weekend hotel rates are insane.

Swing by and visit 8-Track.

My Dad and I went to the railroad museum a couple years ago when I was visiting. We also went to a classic car museum/gallery thing in Green Bay.

I forgot the name so I had to Google it.
https://theautomobilegallery.org/about-us/
It's located at 400 S Adams St. Green Bay

I'll be in GB in a couple weeks to visit the family. Parents 60th anniversary with a gathering of friends and family.

Brother and Sister say they have a honey-do list waiting for me. Most of my family members live closer and they all help out. I'm a timezone away and when I visit I want to do as much as I can while I'm there (a self imposed guilty conscience for not living closer).

Chit!! They stuck a record store in Lake Geneva

Now I'm spending too much where I used to only have to kill time while the wife spent money

On the plus side of poverty, now I have original pressings of Petty, Zeppelin, Blind Faith, and AC/DC

Ya gotta get Rush 2112. Many don't like Geddy Lee's voice but, in my opinion, Rush is in the top 10 of my must have. Neil Peart (the percussionist... RIP) is one of the best drummers this world produced. He not only did master the percussion but wrote most of the of the lyrics for their songs. Some rather funny, a lot of them are pretty deep and thought provoking.
