I didn't know he pardoned his son-in-law's dad. It stinks, for sure... but he had already been charged, tried and convicted, right? There's a difference.

Charles Kushner

Charles Kushner is the father of Jared Kushner, who serves as a senior advisor to the president and is married to Ivanka Trump. The real estate billionaire served two years in prison for tax evasion and retaliating against a federal witness — his brother-in-law.

After making a fortune in New Jersey, the developer came under investigation in 2003 by then-U.S. Attorney Chris Christie[barf] for making illegal campaign contributions.

Kushner's brother-in-law and former employee, William Schulder, eventually became a witness for federal prosecutors. In a move to exact revenge on him for the perceived betrayal, Kushner devised a bizarre blackmail plot: He hired a prostitute to sleep with Schulder, secretly video-taped the encounter, then mailed a tape of it to his own sister.

But the move backfired. Schulder and his wife turned the tape over to prosecutors.

I see the J 6'ers as 98.2% political prisoners who were targeted for their political beliefs. I see Trump was targeted by his political opponent... just like Nelson Mandela.

As I said... I don't believe he pardoned ALL of them, and yes, the ones who put hands on cops should get some punishment/jail time. Some of these folks were locked up the entire time and hadn't even been charged.

We disagree, and that's okay. You might think I believe Trump can do no wrong, and that's just not true. He will eventually do something I disagree with and I will say so.

That gives me a better view of where you are coming from. He did not release them all. At least there were reported to be a number somewhere in the double digits.

The parallel I'd draw as a comparison to your commentary of how there were undercover feds within the crowd urging the protesters/rioters forward (which I do believe there were some feds doing that), is with Portland.

Rioters/protesters is Portland burned that city for at least 95 days (ZRX, chime in with the total # if you like). There had to be some undercover or off duty cops in that group as well, at least chanting, screaming etc to fit in.

If the common denominator is undercover adgitators, tricking some protesters into behaving badly, should we be able to expect a Blue president to also pardon and release all but the same number that Trump released? It is possible for that president to consider those people pardonable.

I don't think, you think that I am a Dem/Blue/Woke. Maybe you do. Different\Evolved from three years ago? Yes. Not nearly as angry (although still get frustrated more than I'd like to) sleeping better (not great) and I'm able (for the most part) able to not kneejerk react to things ...... Although Gene and I both jumped on an erroneous report of Oregon firetrucks being stopped for lacking proper smog requirements.

Getting out of the corporate world (and the Wokeness that was making me the angry, short of sleep, hotheaded reactionary) has helped me find a level of peace I haven't had in decades. All that negativity does nothing but degrade the quality of life for me and the people around me. I want others, everybody really, to find more peace in their lives.

I like exchanging ideas, debating, learning other people's perspectives. If only I could Inspectect what I Suspect 98.2% of the time. I sometimes still react poorly.

Most of the time, the Politics forum (by evidence of the lack of voices who regularly are to the left of Trump which includes a not insignificant # of Republicans, Independents, Libertarians) isn't the place for that.

It is the place where the 6-10 people regularly not only support Trump 98.2% of the time, but defend Trump aggressively.

All of the has made the forum less interesting and more of a cortizol creating experience.

And YES... I played a big part in contributing to that hard-right, negativity, and regularly on the attack of just about anyone to the left of me in almost two decades. I'm not doing that anymore.

So to give you a direct answer, yes. I have changed.

A small handful of Trump Pardons in his first term that have an odor to them....

Steve Bannon: A former White House chief strategist, Bannon was pardoned while facing charges of defrauding donors in a fundraising campaign.

Paul Manafort: Trump's former campaign chairman was pardoned after convictions related to financial crimes and illegal lobbying.

Roger Stone: A longtime associate of Trump, Stone was pardoned following his conviction for obstruction of a congressional investigation.

On a lighter note (and showing a suprising amount of diversity)........ He also pardoned:

Kwame Kilpatrick: The former mayor of Detroit had his 28-year prison sentence for corruption offenses commuted.

Lil Wayne (Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.): The rapper received a pardon after pleading guilty to a federal weapons charge.

Those should help counter claims Trump is an out and out racist. Or maybe just not good at being a consistant racist.

I can forgive the blustery promise of delivering all the things he said on Day 1, I simply go back and watch the Inaugural Speech where he ripped Pedo Joe and Kameltoe Hairs from stem to stern. A complete masterclass on Repudiation.

I still want to know what Barron whispered to Pedo Joe that took him from smiling almost laughing to deadpan "Your entire family just died" look. Then he turns to look back at that decrepit POS permanent stain on the Presidency of the United States of America.

?si=77h7yEtKA52yfa32

The damage America had to withstand was all our Founding Fathers warned us about. Everything. There is only one single thing Biden did that I can give him credit for. One. Trump is more powerful today than he was in 2020. He has the House and the Senate. He won with a majority. He won the popular vote. He wouldn't have had that and almost everything he wanted to do for America would've been up in smoke.

I can also forgive his long list of things that didn't get done on Day 1 with the biggest and most triumphant thing he did do. He put the US military on the Mexican border (I would've put them on the Canadian border too!) and shut that $hit down. That little app they were using...gone. Gates...closed. We've already started hauling out the trash yesterday. All the criminals...that scum is outta here. All with a simple stroke of a pen China's ability to kill 1000's with Fentanyl...OVER. Pedo Joe and the rest of his criminal administration talked about how its safe and the border was closed. Then had to admit when those savages he flew into America were raping and killing with more frequency while a weak sauce tyrannical re-election bid was stumbling, fumbling and f@cking up.

Cut him a little slack and if there's an item you really want him to tackle send him an email.

WATCH: AOC Complains Trump is ‘Much More Dangerous’ Now Because Cultural Figures Are No Longer ‘Scared’ to Associate with Him

by Cassandra MacDonald Jan. 24, 2025 9:30 am

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is extremely mad that cultural figures like Oscar de la Renta are no longer “scared” of associating with President Donald Trump.

Ocasio-Cortez whined about the cultural shift during an appearance on “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart.”

“What makes this go-around with Trump so much more dangerous than the first time around is … he is much more normalized this time around than he was the first time,” the far-left politician said. “The first time, people were really on edge. They were on guard. They were very vigilant about any break that he would have with these norms. This time, the norms are becoming him, like the norms are embracing him.”

The congresswoman was specifically upset about iconic fashion designer Oscar de la Renta dressing the women in the Trump family for the inauguration.

“Even these little things that … everyday working people may not care about, but they are strong cultural signals — Oscar de la Renta like dressing all of the women [for Trump’s inauguration] — like there’s all these cultural symbols … All of these people that were scared before about being associated with him, from the most common basic level to the most elite level, they’re all-in now because this is now a billionaire feeding frenzy,” she said.

Yup...broke their agenda wide open. They did it to themselves with their "He's Hitler" five billion or so times with NOTHING to ever back it up.

Even Pedo Joe wrote a, I'll call it a nice try but we all know not written by the dementia addled creep that was playing President to "Hitler". Ya know, to the man that was going to destroy Democracy! [frypan] [frypan] [frypan]

Make me laugh.

The whole #RESIST is trashed. See them for the communists they are. That movement allowed the wars, lockdowns, restrictive purchases, Green New Deal and rampant illegal immigration for 4 years so now...they can all STFU and eat it. Their terrorist organization has been muzzled and tossed aside. America sees them for what they are. For the ones that still are clinging on to their precious DNC...look no farther than California. They're starting a new recall for Gov. Gavin "Butthead" Newscum. They see what you did. So does the rest of the World!

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/watch-davos-globalists-admit-we-have-lost-trump [/i]

Getting back to that lecherous Milley...recall him back into service. Strip the coveted Ranger tab from his dress blue uniform for breaking and violating the Ranger Creed. Those not aware of it, here:

Ranger Creed

Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of the Rangers.

Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite Soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other Soldier.

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some.

Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained Soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.

Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor.

Rangers lead the way!

Then remove the rank from his shoulders. Bust him down to buck private. Use the UCMJ to do all of this and televise it on live TV. Make him bust big rocks into little rocks. Remember he back channeled the CCP that he wouldn't allow Trump to start any wars and he would warn them if he was even planning it (Trump never did but this is what was leading the Pentagon?!?) and for his false testimony to the washed out "INSURRECTION" false narrative. He forgot he was already on the record that President Trump wanted Speaker of the House Pelosi and the Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser multiple requests for National Guard soldiers. That alone would've quelled the entrance to the Capitol. Denying them was an open admission of their own guilt because they had operative intelligence provided by the very same people that made sure there were riots. It was a staged event. In all their dishonesty they forgot that whatever they want to cry about that day, Trump didn't create an army, provide munitions, have leadership towards toppling the US government. They're liars. They created division and used the Free Press to do it all. The presstitutes openly lied, kept the truths from entering public discussion. Think I'm wrong? Watch the CEO of Facebook on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast rip back the veneer so you can see how the previous administration openly plotted, planned and subverted American's First Amendment rights:

One Biden Commutee, Leonard Peltier, Murdered Two FBI Agents

https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/one-biden-commutee-leonard-peltier-murdered-two-fbi-agents/

Former President Joe Biden commuted the life sentence of American Indian activist and convicted double murderer Leonard Peltier just minutes before leaving the White House Monday. Peltier was in federal prison for murdering FBI Special Agents Jack R. Coler and Ronald A. Williams on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation nearly 50 years ago.

Peltier, who is now 80 and suffering poor health, said “It’s finally over. I’m going home,” according to an advocacy group. Peltier is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Tribe in North Dakota.

Biden mentioned Peltier’s commutation briefly in a written statement explaining his commutation of two other officials. “I am also commuting the life sentence imposed on Leonard Peltier so that he serves the remainder of his sentence in home confinement,” the statement reads.

The FBI has long stressed Peltier’s guilt and fought hard against any parole or commutation of his life sentence.

“Over the last 45 years, no fewer than 22 federal judges have evaluated the evidence and considered Peltier’s legal arguments. Each has reached the same conclusion: Peltier’s claims are meritless, and his convictions and sentence must stand,” FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a 2024 letter opposing Peltier’s parole request.”

Wray resigned from the FBI on Monday the same day Biden left office. Biden is not the first president to be asked to release Peltier.

In June 2017, then-President Barrack Obama denied a clemency request for Peltier from Amnesty International USA’s executive director Margaret Huang, who said in a letter that Peltier has always maintained his innocence.

“The families of the FBI agents who were killed during the 1975 confrontation between the FBI and American Indian Movement (AIM) members have a right to justice, but justice will not be served by Peltier’s continued imprisonment,” Huang said in a 2017 press release.
