This war may be necessary and unavoidable, but it still makes me sick to think of the lives that will be lost, ours and theirs. It won't be the Saddam Husseins and Osama Bin Ladens who suffer, but the hapless bastards who had no choice. I hope it's over quickly with a minimal loss of life and that it leads to a better world. It seems unlikely though. I'm perfectly happy to have done my time in the service without ever being involved in warfare.

Personally I think they (we) try to bring way too much civility/sensitivty into this whole business of war. I don't think of this as a racist cartoon. It is directed towards our enemy. And if we can't hurl verbal insults at our enemy then what's the point in having one!

No real soldier is happy with the fact they have to kill, but it’s the unavoidable fact of war, people will die. I can’t imagine the Vets who have nightmares years after service are happy about them, their content or what they had to do that causes the nightmares! When Robby says he celebrates the deaths I want to vomit, how disgusting!! My brother is a policeman and he’s had to take someone’s life, he realizes he had to do it, but he’s never happy about it!
