Old packaging was a bundle wrapped in a square shape with a yellow paper, much like the way the Indian Tabac Habano '95 Blend are packaged, I bought it in 2000. The "New" packaging is in a triangular shape, with some sort of mesh tied in a bow around the middle, a paper wrap about 2" high, then all of it is wrapped in cellophane, I bought this last month. The cigar packaging that I am referring to is the La Luna Little Havana Blend Especiales No. 5 and all the bundles that
I have ever had were ALL purchased from Cigars International/Cigarbid. If you are from La Luna, how could you NOT know what I'm talking about? Please email me at [email protected] and let me know, thanks 🙂

Hegemonic, hmmmmmmmmm, I think I with La Luna, LOL!

The LHB No.5s are indeed packaged differently than the rest of the LHB line. When Cigars International bought our remaining inventory of No.5s, we shipped them out in their appropriate packaging. It is however possible that a few "square" bundles may have been shipped earlier. Do I pass the test, LOL!

Hello Gael! I think I have smoked almost all of your lines thru trades and purchases . I really like them all!! I have also disected a few and it seems that you'r rollers spend a lot of careful time getting the construction down right. My question: Do you encourage them to roll less cigars a day so they can concentrate on a better roll??

I have to agree with Hegemonic. I've won two bundles of the #5 Especiales, and they were both the square package. Later I've noticed that the picture to accompany the #5 lot, when on display here, showed a triangular bundle.

CL, I think you are right, they will never let this joke up. LMAO. Funny thing though, you can see how curious they are about the she-male thing that they may actually go and try it. LOL.

Gael???? You wouldn't by any chance be a she-male????

I just smoked and African Fuerte Luna Park. This an outstanding cigar! It's very complex with lots of cameroon flavor. And dead sexy!!

Ah yes, I tried one of the African Perfecto No. 5's.
Exhaling through the nose does truly intensify the flavors and bring out the unbelievable texture and richness of the cigar. The AFP#5 is really a work of art. Such a beautiful wrapper with a lustrious oily finish .. these are a "winner" Gael - great job.

I've recently bought several styles of your cigars in 5 packs. I was wondering if aging them in the packs is o.k. or should I take them out?

The general consensus is that in order to "age," cigars need to breathe. I know that Gael has posted previously that cigars should be aged in the box they came in, cellos removed. I should point out that MOST of the La Luna cigars you find on CigarBid are already 2 or more years old. (MFs and AFs notwithstanding)

Yep age them babies in a cedar box if you can wait that long.I usually smoke mine all up before they have a chance to grow any older and wiser,LOL!!
