I got the 1/2 box in a split w/ forum members, so the box was not sealed when I got it. I do have the box, though. The stick was still in its cello, and the original sealing tape strip was unblemished. Dunno if that helps. I didn't find it a huge deal. Not angling for anything, just commenting on it is all. A patch is only offensive to me if it is sloppy, or of an obviously different tobacco. As stated, the smoke was still great ,and worth what I paid for it in my opinion.
