Any recommendations for a reliable torch lighter in the $30 to $50 price range?

Seriously, spend 3 bucks on a ronson, spend the other 27 on cigars. . .

Expensive lighters are cool for about six months till they clog and don't want to light. get a cheepy jet it works just as well

Bugattis have served me well. Like the single flame torches more than triple. More control and doesn't scorch the cigar. IMHO.

Btw, you should not have to spend in the range you are talking about.

If I was getting a lighter as a gift to be engraved, I'd go with ZRX' suggestion and get a Xikar in a non-black finish; or a Zippo Blu. I have had a couple Xikars with zero problems - I'd be glad to give one as a gift.

Looks nice but haven't used one. YMMV

I like the Zippo "torch inserts" for a cheep but pretty decent torch lighter that I wouldn't cry over if I lost it. 🌫

Bic lighters work pretty good and they are very inexpensive and dependable.

I've given several of these as gifts. Can get the Zippo in brushed or polished brass, flat or enamel black, etc. and have them engraved. And the Blu torch inserts have been very dependable for me.

"Lighter" is a relative term, we would first need to know the weight of the item in question in order to provide you with a "lighter" recommendation....
