On this note, is it impolite to regift smokes that someone has gifted you?

I have always been under the impression that it was rude to do so. Sometimes I owe a PIB and almost all I have are smokes that someone has gifted to me, so I wait until I get a new shipment to pick from.

A lot of guys will say that once those cigars are given to you, they are yours to do whatever you want to do with them.

I try to keep those sticks for myself.

One time, I sent somebody here a number of smokes.

When it was his turn to bomb me, part of their package was four cigars in a baggie that I had sent him.

Haha that seems weak...

So far I have been able to go without regifting, although after a point all you may have left is gifted sticks if you kept trading and PIB/F'ing..

Good to know though, thanks banderl

This goes along with cello on/off.

Everybody knows the wrapper is where all the flavor is, so of course you leave the cello wrapper on. That's also why yellow cello is a good thing, cuz it means the cello is nice and aged.

DUH.

Thats what i've been saying dang i new it... i love the taste of cello in the morning, you can't beat an aged band!🐴

Keep them pinned to your cork bulletin board w/colored pins waving label flags. Then log your entries into a special imitation leather book w/lock that goes next to your diary under the pillow, Z6.

I know I know after all the help you've been to me, I bust your maracas. lol

Every time I buy unbanded bundles, I cut off the package label & include with the sticks grouped together by cedar partition or attach loosely with rubber band to bundle. Sticky note paper works well also on individual sticks which I usually leave on top trays and then either remember what they were or don't give a shiite. Just enjoy.

well what about me buying all the Flor del Todo No. 4 Especial Maduro... i bought a bundle of those before i started doing this... it was a good stick and i plan on passing them, not because its a cheaper smoke, or i won't smoke it... i plan on getting more. I will gift them because of the fact smoking is an expensive love, and this will allow the gents like me to smoke every day or at least give them the chance to see if its something they could enjoy and save the expensive ones for weekends or special occasions... JMHO🇨🇮

You can do what ever the ____ you wanta do!!!!!

I've only sent unbanded cigars if that's how they come, but will let the person know what it is. On some occasions, people have sent sticks without labels, with the expectation that the recipient would smoke it and guess what it is. That seems to happen among more experienced cigar smokers.

There is a blind trade going on in the trades board, with guys sending a fiver without labels. The receiver smokes it, posts a review and makes a guess about it's identity and MSRP. Very fun way to sample new cigars. I smoked someone's C o ck, and liked it.

The only comments that I would say about the un-banded cigars is to:

1) Inform the person you are gifting the cigars of their identity, and

2) Don't send seconds of any kind, no matter how good the website says that they are, or even if you like them UNLESS the person receiving agrees to it in advance.

I have to agree with bobbyscott- you probably shouldn't send 2nds. I mean, a donkey dropping or whatnot is ok, but bundle seconds from CI, try to do better.

And thanks for the help bloody! I've tried post it notes cut smaller before but they didn't hold well. I may have to buy some of those blank bands or maybe just smoke it right when I get it.
