Your ashtrays are art. And yes the black background shows it off much better than the red did.

I'd love to see a round ashtray made from a single piece of burl. You could use the router to cut some really cool designs along the outer edge. Use a stain or whatever finish tickles your fancy to really showcase the patterns in the wood.... I'm suddenly feeling the urge to smell some sawdust flying around.... anyway as always you did a fantastic job on the ashtray! Keep the pics coming!
