Why is it that, when the bid is on a cigar (box, fiver or just one cigar) and they specify that you can order up 2, 3, 5 or more of the cigar up for bid, that they allow you only one when you actually bid on it? I mean, why tell potential bidders that you can win up to 2, 3, 5 or more when they know that won't be the case when it is bid on???

Not sure I've experienced this issue. Usually if mutliple lots, I throw in an early low bid on all of them, and since I was first, get dibs on th elowest priced one given all subsequent bidders don't outbid my first underbid.

Did you enter a quantity before you clicked bid now? The default bid is one item, or lot. If there's multiple items and you want more than one, enter a higher number.

Dunno. A few weeks ago an item was offered for bid. There were a total of 25 available. I wanted 10. I bid on 10. I won 10. I received 10. What color is your membership card???

I'm not sure what your point is Tony. If you put a bid in for a quantity of 2, 3 or more it would seem to me that, most of the time, you should get the quantity bid upon. Almost every time, with few exceptions, when I put in a bid for multiple units, it automatically scales the amount down to one unit. Doesn't make much sense to me. Oh, and I read the information you posted and I still don't understand.

I believe the answer has something to do with auto-bidding by the other platinum members.....if a bidder has a higher price set than you, from what I understand from past experience, you will only be able to grab the number available at your price.....call CS and they can esplain it to you..................
