Go to yard gar right there. Pinar's got a bad rap, but them Cubano Especials are great for the price.

I'm with ya Charlie, I find myself reaching for the smaller vitola's more and more. Still like a 60 every once in a while.

When I first got into gars I thought bigger was better, now I just want the wrapper.

Does anybody make a wrapper only quality cigar with wrapper quality binder and filler?

ZRX,
The melanio Madura is probably hands down my favorite for the price.
Of coarse if my pockets could handle it I would ash the AF and Padrons all day.
Something about em' oh, and of coarse the Tats.

What am I saying those are all great gars!

I'm gonna have to try the Kristoff, La Aroma, La Aurora, Perdomo's, Leaf, and the EPC.

I've got my homework now. Thank ya feller's

Hillbilly hitting the hay.....

Big day tomorrow...... Good ole Vday!

It would burn horribly and be very bitter. Capa leaves have terrible combustion properties.

Jose Pepin sr (Don Pepin). does have some cigars that use the same leaves for the binder (capote) and the wrapper (capa), the ugly leaves get used for the capote, the pretty ones (without holes) get used for the capa. But it's not a top priming leaf. it's a few down from he top of the plant - kind of right at the border of ligero and viso. The topmost leaves are too thin to hold up reliably as binder. Pete Johnson has had Pepin make some of the Tatuajes with these doubles also.
