Ever had it?

Like it?

Hate it?

Did you have the alcoholic or non-alcoholic type?

Specific brands you favor?

It's an acquired taste...for sure.

Really like the Stewart's brand.

Bought an Asian brand but don't remember the name at a market and it was as good.

Not a fan of the alcoholic versions.

I've only had the Goslings brand, and someone had already added rum for a Dark & Stormy. Don't know what it would be like straight, but maybe I'll try some.

Goslings is good.

Had some other brands that were decent as well.

One was considered "spicy".

The alcoholic version is very good, but expensive around here.

Schwepps was easily the best but no longer made.

I grew up on Moscow mules. It was my dads cb handle in the 70s.

If you can find Blenheim Ginger Ale it's well liked locally. Try the gold cap first, if you love it, get the red cap bottles.

Ginger doesn't like me, so I don't drink it any more.

I've only had the Crabbe's Alcoholic Ginger Beer and although different (...little spicy but didn't taste as gingery as I though it would...) could see buying again.

My wife likes Moscow Mules and usually has some ginger beer around. I grabbed the remainder of a bottle the other day while to pair with an Illusione and it was a great combination. I found it surprisingly 'subdued'. I don't like ginger in my food at all, but I do like ginger ale and the ginger beer. Believe it was Saranac from Wegmans. She has said she prefers it to Reed's Jamaican Style from Safeway, but not by a lot - I haven't tried Reed's yet.

Was talking to the aberfeldy/dewers rep the other day. He claims ginger compliments most whisky.

My GF introduced me to the Moscow Mule this summer. They go well with just about any cigar I smoke but have pretty good "knock down" power.

Try the Kentucky Mule.

Bourbon in place of vodka.

No copper mug needed.
