Still remember those Pork Tenderloins on a bun in Iowa, and pastrami or corned beef at a New York Deli.

Nothing in a tubular form? I woulda thought this crowd would be a total sausage fest. Brats, or a good Polish loaded up however you like? Or just a gaddam cheeseburger?

Many different ingredients can be used. The green tomato's and peppers are fairly common and I guess the cucumber brings a little cool to the peppers. Sounds good!

It's hard to beat a well done Muffaletta. For 3 weekends ive told the wife I wanted one for supper. We have ended up stopping somewhere else for one reason or another.

I think I just made my lunch plans.

Crawfish Po-Boy is good to me as well.

On a hot Sip summer day it's hard to beat my grandmothers recipe for

PIMENTO AND CHEESE

Now that's a good sandwich.

Why did you have to tell her 3 times with no results?

Does she not understand what "get me a sammich" means?

I just made my broad make me two sammiches just to make this a manly thread again.

WTF is pimento and cheese? Pimento bologna or just pimento and cheese, either sounds trashy.

I guess pimento and cheese is a Southern thing.

Absolutely nothing trashy about it. It is FANTASTIC!!

And the best way to eat bologna is a fried bologna sandwich.
