To be honest I like the feel of the factory grips. I hear the wood cocobolos look nice but are slick. I'll not change a thing for awhile but someday may hit up cgw. I could sell this in a few years with little loss if any. I'd never recoup Cajun gun works costs though.

Great choice and with those cocobolo grips a great look too.

If they fit your hand well grips don't need to feel like sandpaper.

The markup on firearms for most shops isn't that much, one reason many are happy to receive and transfer Internet purchases. A transfer puts cash in their hand for minimal work/outlay and they make more on selling accessories. I have two local FFLs always willing to feed my blue steel addiction.

Comfort is huge....feel good, shoot good. If you end up hating the grips you can always turn em on fleabay.

I didn't like the textured grip on my H&K and put a Hogue grip sleeve on. No other pistol feels as good to me in the hand and it's more accurate probably due 99% to confidence.

Those 75's shoot sweet and are accurate as hell.

I really like the factory grips. They just don't look pimp and stuff. I think the cocobolos look better when shooting sideways.

Background check delayed. Ironically likely due to my security clearance.

Could be. The gun looked nice.

I honestly think it's a government scam to discourage sales.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least. But if I was a betting man, I'd bet they delay some number of requests to show they are effective and to earn someone a bonu$, regardless of any real need to delay.

It's really nice having a CCP here is in South Carolina, the background check you receive for your carry permit allows an FFL to transfer a firearm without calling. Of course, the 4473 is still required.

80% of rejections in 2014 here in Oregon were false hits.

Gene the ffl I'm using could release the gun after 3 days if no response/decision but will not because of the San Bernardino killer (I may have my killers mixed up). Apparently while it's totally legal the store that sold the gun in that case has racked up 3 or 4 hunnert grand in lawyer fees.

I go through a pretty extensive security clearance at work. One that hits the fbi, interviews friends, family, neighbors etc. the ffl thinks this may have tripped it. I dunno.

Funny part is it is my understanding there is such a huge backlog of delays that they have moved agents away from working appeals of denials. Right now if you are denied you have no recourse. Too convenient. This one I place squarely at the feet of Obama and find it intentional.

So much for "public servants" 🤐

Not to mention, "...shall not be infringed..."

I'd call the NRA at Toll Free: 1-800-830-4590 and tell them about it... 😟

bureaucracy at its finest
pays to know your ffl as he/she has the right to release gun to you and most will/do

sucks to be an honest, law abiding dude who is just pumped about a new purchase only to find out your being screwed

Our un-elected bi-sexual governess is trying to repeal the automatic approval if rejection is challenged and not responded to in 3 days. Even though nothings ever come of it here.
