Just wondering how coffee drinkers like to brew their coffee.

To accommodate Mrs. Monkey, on a daily basis we use a medium roast. Pre-ground. Ground my own for a while, but the subtleties are lost on me. When it's just me, I brew CDM, French Market or Community coffee and chicory. Add scalded milk and some sugar and I'm in cafe au lait heaven.

Whole bean, ground minutes before steeping in a french press is the only way to go. Either that or instant coffee

All of the above, except for the "roasting".
I might add . . . I brew my coffee in either a drip machine, a french press, a stove top CorningWear perculator ,
or the Kuerig, depending on my mood and how much effort I feel like putting into it.

I buy green beans, roast about once a week and grind before brewing. Perfect timing, I just came from roasting beans, the last of my Tre Rios from Coffee bean Corral. 😞 I think a large user has bought up the entire crop, I could only find one other supplier that had a few pounds.

I don't own a roaster, I buy local fresh roast.

Buy whole bean and grind, brew in French press, aeropress or k-cup adapter.
Use pre-packaged k-cup as I jet out the door in the morning.
Buy whole bean, pre-grind a decent amount and use at work with a pour-over or French press.
Purchase custom made at Dutch Bros or a local shop.
Cool to room temperature and consume intravenously.
Administer as eyedrops.
Grind extra fine and inhale.
Soak gauze pads in coffee concentrate and wear like a nicotine patch.

not quite the coffee fiend many here are, but I have developed a taste for cold brewed. Bought some concentrated, may report eventually.
For now, usually use Dunkies ground in a Mr Coffee,

When I have time whole bean ground and french press.
Less time I use fresh ground in a k-cup adapter
No time prepackaged k-cup.
Special occasions = french press island blend from the mad Hawaiian.

Like French pressed but won't spend the time often. Grind, in Mr Coffee, black works most days just fine.

Community Private Reserve Breakfast Blend Whole Beans
Cuisnart combo burr grinder/brewer.
Fresh cream and sugar
Since my coffee maker was below the high water mark it ended up in the trash heap. On a positive note, while going through things in the attic, I found a hand crank burr grinder. Planning to go pick up a French press when some of the box stores reopen.

Try an aero press instead.

Coffee presses do make good coffee and the Aeropress is a good maker too.
We use a Technivorm Moccamaster drip coffeemaker that does a great job. My wife likes ice in her coffee so we brew a pot then turn off the heat. I drink it while it's hot or reheat as needed.

HOT....and almost Immediately after getting up, therefore I must choose the Kurig and the K kups mostly using ground bean coffee but there's a few ready made pods I enjoy too.

Did all of the above at one time or another except for roasting. Now it's a Keurig, get up, throw a pod in, take a leak, coffee's ready, I'm happy. 🌫

Realized I didn't post anything about my preferences so here goes:
These days - K-cup until we get everything out of storage and back to "normal." After that it'll be:
Days of old - mix 100% Kona beans with Vanilla-Mac beans for a 35% Kona coffee blend and the grind a couple of small Ziplock bags of it. Used a percolator that my kids got for me a couple Christmases ago. When I'm feeling fancy I'll use a French press but when I'm lazy and want more than 4 cups, I'll use our old Mr. Coffee to brew.
Although I *love* 100% Kona coffee, wife says I get too amped up and am just a whirlwind after my second cup so the 35% blend satisfied my Kona coffee fix when keeping me relatively "calm."
