OK, I get it, you all are upset at kneeling for the flag and feel it is disrespectful of the US military and veterans. I also understand that an employer has standards that they lay out to guide or govern the whole.
You fellas are bringing all the emotions into this. All the my daddy or pappy was a (fill in the blank) and your supposed to shut up and go along with this--cause its always been done this way.
Its Football. Im just seeing holes in the conversations about men getting amounts of money that some feel they do not deserve. Like capitalism and the American Way is thrown out the window when it comes to football players. What happened to get all you can, if you can? Also, what happened to the American spirit of "you can't tell me what to"?

When you say "What happened to get all you can, if you can?" does that include pissing on those that do care, that feel a group of people are pissing on the grave and are biting the hand that feeds them?
You stated what happened to the American spirit of "you can't tell me what to"? well that is still there or this would have stopped along time ago. But, one also has to commune with the community if they expect to go far or be accepted by the community as a whole. The community as a whole still does not think it is ok to disrespect, dishonor, piss on tradition because of the emotion and feelings that are the backbone of such.
Now with that said, I am not trying to take away from what the protest or "Keeling" is suppose to represent. I do understand what they are trying to say BUT i will say they chose the wrong platform or "soap box" to make that stand. In my mind they chose degrade something sacred to the majority in the US to make their point. Once that happened then in my mind and personal feelings they do not deserve my attention to even look at or even consider what their point is.
I guess what I am trying to say is this. I do not need to come to one of your loved ones grave piss on it, dishonor it or you to just get your attention so you will see my point or protest. I would hope that in the very very least if I should do that, you would at MINIMUM not even give my point a valid consideration. Why I would think this is because well I assume you have emotion that would come into it yes? Why well because with out that emotion or feeling there would be no grave yes?
