Dave, it is possible to be against Trump and not always be negative towards him. This is just not accurate. Do I bash Trump often, yes. Do I always bash Trump, no. I find a certain amount of the bashing here irrelevant. Such as Stormy Daniels. WGAF? I find a few things he does very presidential. Such as not entering a bad trade agreement, and demanding to renegotiate a bad trade agreement. So it would be nice if conservatives looked at liberals individually. I try to look at conservatives that way.

I, too, disagree with you pretty consistently, Huck. But, I'll agree to a large degree with your assessment that Trump is not all too 'self-censoring', 'civil', respectful, tolerant, or even unbiased. Bad form? Agreed. But, I'm not sure any of that precludes him from having a 'successful' presidency. (Which of course can't be objectively judged by anyone for at least a couple/few decades.) He's far from my ideal president. But, I'm confounded by the mentality (sometimes described as TDS) that prohibits even the detractors from EVER projecting anything other that total negativity.

I don't want this guy making critical decisions at critical moments. He's a loose cannon.

But I'm personally convinced that he's in Putin's pocket (along with many in his crew).

And that disqualifies him as a successful president imo.

I think if either of these things were really true, what ever one was true would have ended up in a vice president getting promoted due to the president having a heart attack, suicide, car accident, etc...

In the end, that's all you can really hope for is that a POTUS does what they think is right for the country.

He's always giving Russia a pass eg election meddling, delaying/ignoring Congresses sanctions, the Ukraine, dead spies on British soil, fixed Russian election, chemical weapons in Syria, believing Putin instead of his own intelligence agencies? is beyond suspect imo.

Trump has a very long and profitable history with Russia.
