It's opinion, dude.

He's in the hall, so more people share yours than mine, but the stats support me.

You know Terry and Phil Robertson (duck dynasty) went to Louisiana Tech and both played QB? Phil was evidently the better of the two to boot. But Phil liked hunting more and Terry got the spot. Timing is everything. 🐴

If you’ve ever been to canton and walked the hall with all the busts you’d never question Bradshaw. There are some questionable names in there though.

It’s not a stats thing or you could build an algorithm and take the human element out. Bradshaw makes fun of himself and downplays his abilities. As a cowboys fan from the 70s he belongs.

He’s no Kenny Stabler though.

I don’t always disagree with you Macs. I also understand your position I just remember him playing in real time and think he deserves in. It’s not personal.

Ditto. That was what I meant by perspective. I lived through those games and watched them. Completely different from todays game, and stats don't tell the whole story. 🤐

He won all his bowls in 74-75 and 77-78. I was a toddler. Pretty sure 98.2% of 4-8 year olds weren't glued to the TV set on Sundays back in the 70's.

Apparently teedub is much older than me.

As am I. I was 14 in 1974. I watched the 72 Dolphins with glee as Don Shula, Bob Griese, Earl Morrall, and Larry Csonka took them all the way for the whole tamale undefeated. One helluva season, although not without controversy. Man those were some hellacious games.

I’m 52 going on 53 and was a football fanatic. Cowboys fan. Bradshaw was a tuff mfer back when qbs had to be. They were not protected like the bradys of the world. Brady would have a much shorter career in that era.

As for age, to put it in perspective my younger brother died when he was 8. He was a huge eagles fan, particularly Ron jawarsky. (Sp). I think he liked them because I liked the cowboys. My brother is buried in a jawarsky Jersey even though I can’t spell it.

I remember Bradshaw, Tarkington, stabler, stauback etc clearly. Not sure why I wouldn’t. Different breed back then. Not better necessarily but different. Can’t really compare

I just rewatched the chargers dolphins game with fouts throwing to a pretty much dead Winslow. Wouldn’t happen today. Great game. Remember it clearly. My dad took me hunting early that morning. Cleaned the guns then sat on the loveseat glued to the game.

I love the nfl and don’t give a crap about the sjw folk kneeling etc or the equally snow flakeish sjw folk boycotting the nfl or Nike as a result. I don’t like or dislike the nfl for either reason and have always been a big fan.

I don’t get the butt hurt sjw from either side other than knowing they are very similar to each other.

And no I didn’t forget Jefferson or joiner. Winslow was the man in that game though.

yep. never stopped watching nfl. don't care much about players, coaches, or owners politics so what they say or do is something that does not enter my game watching decision.

Winslow even blocked a field goal!
