I do not joke about kosher coke. It is the best coke for a Cuba Libre (my goto drink other than a few fingers of whiskey, neat) other than Mexican coke that also uses real sucrose.

Regardless of where it comes from or for what reason it is made with sucrose, coke with actual sucrose is simply better. Since I am not religious at all I am not sure if it is "kosher" to go mixing it with rum but none the less, it is still my preferred coca-cola.

That was my immediate thought. But I went to bed with my TV on TBS watching A Christmas Story (as I do every Christmas Eve).

I honestly just wish Coca-Cola would make it with sugar in the US. I haven't tried Japanese coke yet (sucrose+stevia) aka green coke, or "coke life"? here in the US. I have only seen it in 6 packs and don't want to make that commitment.

A Jewish father was very troubled by the way his son turned out and went to see his rabbi about it.

“Rabbi, I brought him up in the faith, gave him a very expensive Bar Mitzvah and it cost me a fortune to educate him. Then he tells me last week, he’s decided to be a Christian. Rabbi, where did I go wrong?”

The rabbi strokes his beard and says, “Funny you should come to me. I too, brought up my son as a boy of faith, sent him to university and it cost me a fortune and then one day he comes to me and tells me he wants to be a Christian.”

“What did you do?” asked the man of the rabbi.

“I turned to God for the answer,” replied the rabbi.

“What did he say?” asked the man.

He said, “Funny you should come to me..."
