Management said I could not come in tonight. I tried to see if I could work another unit for double time and a half, they said they had a need but would not let me come in after 9 in a row.

I did 13 in a row in August, 10 in a row in October and 11 in a row in December, dunno why they capped me at 9 this week. Another nutty nurse that works excessive hours got capped at 8 too. Hell, in 2012 I did 19 12hr shifts in a row.

They said one day off and can pick up starting the next day.

As long as they're paying double time, I'm gonna take every hour I can get. I've been there 11 years now and this is the first time they've ever had double time. Occasionally they'll throw out a $100 bonus to pickup a 12hr shift over the years but never double time.

Might not be doing double time tomorrow.

Got auto show tickets.

Gonna head up there with wife and boy when he gets outta school.

Yum, just had a maple bacon donut for breakfast. This bakery hooks it up. 3 pieces of bacon on a maple long John. Back to pulling cable at work. Pulled about 6000ft yesterday. Gonna be doing the same again today.

Father in law is in the hospital with pneumonia...

I'm a little frustrated with him... He gets sick and hides it from everyone...

I don't know if he's being stupid or if his brain is so childlike he actually thinks he will just get better on his own...

He has been hospitalized numerous times a year for several years now because he has a heart condition, he's diabetic, he's overweight, he doesn't exercise, and he doesn't eat right....

So every little sickness he gets pretty much can end his life if he doesn't go to the hospital...

And yet, every time he gets sick, it's a middle of the night ambulance trip to the hospital because he waits until he can't breathe anymore to get help...

So incredibly frustrating to watch him put his family through this time and time again...

Online application and a phone call, got that refinanced to 4%.

Already hauled out one garbage can full of stuff. Think there's gonna be several. I'm in a purging mood.
