What happens when you die?
No. Not a religious question.
Where you planning on keeping your earthly carbon molecules for all eternity?

Casket in a grave?
Urn in a grave?
Urn on the mantel?
Or just scattered in the wind?

I'm honestly curious how people are preparing when their number is called.

Don't really care, ashes to ashes. In the river or around a tree. Graves are kind of a waste of land. For a few years some living may visit, after that, maybe someone doing a family treee, however with modern records that is unnecessary.

I told my wife to have the military cremate me, then give the urn to the next ship going on deployment... and have that ship throw me over the side when they dump trash.

I'll be dead, so I won't care.

My thoughts would be to be cremated, find a reloader, have them load me into a bunch of ammo and then my friends can fire me into the ocean and save a few rounds of me in they want

Having handled the ashes of my departed Mother and Father in Law, that might involve multiple thousands of rounds. Do you know anyone into making fireworks?

This most likely. Although, I do have reservations. Mainly concerning the poor bastages going to get assigned the detail. Those don't always go well. 🤦

Hopefully I’ll have a premonition of when my time is coming to an end.
I’ll take one last excursion into the wilderness, and won’t be coming back...

You don't really need a premonition if you live in bear country...……….just take a hike after using bacon grease for aftershave.
