Both, work in behavioral health and lost a brother, coworker, and clients to suicide. But, the science of the brain is what fascinates me. It took 3 years in college to figure that out! Have a degree in sociology. You are all part of my experiment! Lol. JK. Not really. Always learning.

PS one of you guys already reached out and that is the awesome thing about community, whether IRL or online.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I'm doing well. Grief sneaks in at random times.

turns out one of the guys found hanging from a public tree in SoCA was a legit suicide...video evidence from an adjacent business was shown to relatives who later made a public statement acknowledging it was a suicide, after days of insisting it wasn't...tragic...

The California one was suicide? Interesting. I figured that one wouldn't be.

Another one in NY... hung by a Middle school.
Maybe all this sh$t is causing a rash of suicides among black males?

Many people's worlds are turning upside down. Add not being able to cope with change and you are going to have an increase in risky behaviors, including suicides. I would venture to guess that substance abuse and other unsafe coping is increasing as well.

I do think you're right. When 2020 is over we may see some very unusual numbers for that.
