Tomatoes are nasty crap. Vile things.

Disgusting.

Useful in some recipes, but alone they make me want to puke.

Try a slice of tomato and a thin slice of onion on a single piece of dark rye... with a little salt & pepper of course.... 😟

DrafterX, that's exactly how my father liked his! (He was German, so I guess this was how he ate them as a kid, and an adult. His mother was the same way, although she always spread some liverwurst on hers.)

Tomatoes ripened in the garden (not that grocery store crap) are wonderful. Can't think of too many sammish or burger that they do not improve. And what sauce do you put on pizza?

Time to plant the fall crop here.

Grill tomatoes with little tabasco sauce. Tomatoes, one egg, horseradish,volka smoothie,salt and pepper for taste, celery stir.

might slice up one of our last garden maters tonight, put it on a skillet, top wif slices of halloumi cheese and pop it in the oven or broil...
then top with fresh basil, little olive oil, maybe a splash of balsamic, oregano, s & p...

Tom Brady won't eat maters. Cause of inflammation

I had 18 tomato plants this year. Had so many I was feeding the neighbors! Need pull the last few and plant the fall garden.
