Poll Question: Covid Immunization

Just curious on everyone's willingness to take the immunization.

I will take when available. I believe AL is currently in the 5 worse states as far as rollout. They have just started administering to those 75 and older.

I will certainly take it as soon as it's made available to me. I work in an industry where I have to come in contact with many different people, and my boss (a.k.a. father-in-law) is 80, has had and recovered from COVID, but it was pretty scary, touch and go for a while. He almost died. My wife and I both had it too. She's a school teacher, so she'll probably get vaccinated before me. I'm not willing to take the chance of getting it again, and God forbid, passing it to my wife or her father.

Yup. Even more certain today after sitting in on a meeting with Dr. Drew Weissman. He is best known for his development of the mRNA technology used in the current vaccines. After listening to him it's a no brainer.

If they impeach Trump, Biden automatically gets credit for the vaccine.... 😟

The mechanism has been in the works for 8ish years and this isn't it's first use. It's really not new new. The more I learn the more comfortable I am with it. It's approach is fascinating.

I'd never heard of him before. I assume you haven't either LOL

I'm glad I didn't skip the meeting. It was fascinating and I learned a lot.

Me too. Might get it early from my wife's job where she is considered front line. This is to increase the chance we don't infect her in the mean time. Just waiting on permission from the governor...

Push some old lady down the stairs. Demand a speedy trial, plead guilty.

Get your shot and tell the boys MACS says HI.

They won't beat you unless you go to a place the cameras can't see well.

As soon as it's available.

Currently a #2 though so it'll be a couple of months.
