Do have to run to the store for fresh stuff. Peppers, cilantro, tomato, and a block of Mexican cheese.

Think imma make some flautas/tacquitos to freeze for later.

Got a whole chicken smoked on Wednesday but didn't have plans for how I was gonna eat it all.

Painted a house for a wealthy guy back in the day. Was told to go into a room after the drywaller and mark all the flaws that will show through the paint. Couple hundred marks later the drywaller was pissed. Got pulled aside by the homeowner and told to mark flaws but "don't go picking pepper out of flychit." Said I'd promise not to as long as he promised the same once it was painted. Deal.

So where was I the day the towers fell? Patching and touching up every little dent, edge, and hump on every wall in that damn house, EXCEPT for the one room the lying bastid gave me free reign to mark up the shoddy work

Not that I'm holding a grudge or anything

Air conditioner crapped out. I turned the AC on yesterday to try to help the drywall mud to cure.

It's been running continuously all morning and there's no water dripping from the condensate line. It's 78 and humid in the house.

Getting ready to make some Chicken fingers for the GF's kids.

Not sure if I should do french fries, mashed potatoes, or Mac and cheese with the chicken fingers.

I knew this day would come eventually. In 2010 when I installed forced air, the HVAC guy reused the compressor that came with the house, I think it was from 2003 or 2006.

I called him and left a message asking him to come out and take a look. Hoping for a repair over replacement but I suspect it's going to need replacement.

One of my outside faucets leaking like crazy. Went to Menards for a rebuild kit, but for $8 more I can get a whole new faucet so I did that instead. Gotta remove the whole thing to rebuild it anyway.

Oh, and the wasps are back. Building a nest in my rear storm door's bottom flange cavity. Gotta take care of that today too.
