My folks asked me to get them whipped cream from instacart... after the order showed up, they brought us a flat of strawberries from the strawberry stand... but the whipped cream is for them, not us... I personally would've liked a little advanced notice so I could've gotten my whipped cream supply in order...

So I made a sponge cake, sent them a picture, and I'm holding their half for ransom until they bring me some whipped cream...

That's kinda how my wife use to do grocery shopping. She would buy lunch meat but we wouldn't have any bread. Then next time she would buy the bread but the lunch meat was bad. Thankfully she has gotten better with it.

It's acting like the furnace does when the limit switch gets tripped. Which has been happening more frequently and super sensitive to having a perfectly clean filter.

I can turn it off, wait a bit, turn it on and it'll cool for about an hour. But then the compressor eventually unloads confirmed with amprobe and continues to run the compressor fan.

I dont think the compressor failed.

I suspect it's a freezing/airflow issue at the evaporator. Makes sense that the heat has been troublesome and now AC as well. If the heat exchanger evaporator assembly is covered in dirt, it's gonna restrict airflow, cause overtemp conditions with heat and freezing with AC.

HVAC dude coming Monday. I dont really know how to get at the evaporator core. And I'm not interested in finding out. Basement is still comfortable. I gotta throw my window unit in the bathroom to dry out the drywall mud though.

Among the other suggestions, it could be low on freon which will cause the evaporator to freeze up.

Yup. Could be that too, but I think first the evaporator needs cleaned. In order to get to it though, system needs to be discharged so we'll find any leaks/pressure issues with that.

Morning gents, out on the lake for a week with the family. It should be a fun getaway. Stress decompression. All are smart phones are set for calls and texts, we have all limited them for no entertainment, and 4 websites each with group approval of the 4. Computers are limited to work, investments, and the same websites. TV'S are limited to moves and shows, commercials no audio or video. Only emergency broadcast system will come through. The lads have been taught to use a self emptying large litter box. The water is way to damn cold for swimming. The fishing could be good. Definatly kayaking in dry suits. Brought some fun drones to play with. Board games, cards, books, and so on. Over and out. I will be on here some, but 0% politics.

Sold the go-kart but I had to take $100 off and deliver to close the deal for $400. Kept the new spare tire tho.

Guy was sold, took it for a spin around the yard, but he came in a small suv. Asked if I could remove the rollcage to fit it in there. I said you do asking price I'll deliver. Right then the boy runs up to him and says "yeah the chain falls off alllll the time so we gotta get rid of it".

Showed him the clutch has a little play on the keyway. He wanted that sorted so I reshimmed the engine got the chain good n tight. Told him a new clutch is about $40 easy install. Took it for a few more laps and he was able to argue down $100 with me keeping the $50 tire. Fair enough cause the boy had to tell him about the damn chain.

Speaking of tie rods, started messing with my old mower with the bad tie rods. Fixed the misfire by replacing one of the armatures. Had one in the garage. Wrong one, had to trim a cooling fin a bit with a dremel but got it in and gapped and now it runs well. Had an oil filter too so I changed the oil while I was at it.

Tried to snug up the tie rods a bit but they're just beat to death. Selling it as is. At least now it's running well. Just needs tie rods.

Picked up a pack of Vienna Beef hotdogs, some neon green Chicago relish, sport peppers, tomato, and dill spears. Had the onions, celery salt, buns, and mustard at home.

Got some tater salad and coleslaw too. Should've bought tater chips to go with the wieners.

It's one of my favorite camping meals, but no camping so doing it at home.

Summer starts here like Monday when it will be 96F or higher every day this week in humidity that just chokes you out. I'll be doing the opposite of you for the next 4-5 months.

First time of the season? What season? Grilling is year round man!

My brother in law does the same, only grills when weather is perfect. Rain, snow, or sun I'm out there.
