I had one, HUGE tree. I a was HUGE oak. It was out near the road/front yard with 2 major diversions from the main trunk. Since it was within 15 feet or whatever fro the read... the town officially owned it. It split halfway down from an ice storm. It took me few calls BS back and forth with the town and tree guys to learn that I'm not allowed to authorize for it to be removed and they were gonna send someone out to do it.
Half of the oak, a week later... it casts a looming shadow over the children's room The part of the house that, should it come down it's gonna crash into two kid's bedrooms... Talking with the town..."You won't let me take the tree down without some BS review and/or authorizations.. OK, you ready to deal with the repercussions (since it's technically your tree) if it comes down before you take it down?
You better figure out a way to clear it soon and... I mean this week.. if my kids are harmed from "your" tree falling on my house in the next few days, this is on you. I offered to take it out on my dime but and you denied.
Tree removal team showed up the following day. Question: Why do you need to be an **** to get anything done?
