About right. I have six. Have all the deadwood cleaned out ever four years. It’s always a minimum of $1,000. Usually around $1,500. Removing each one, because of the age/size would run about $15,000.
Often get comments on how beautiful the back yard is. It is. And often times 5 or 6 degrees cooler. But it is a game of Lumber Roulette. Wait to long, we could have a catastrophe. Taking them all down would be as depressing as it would be expensive.
