Sitting at the emergency vet atm. Just had to admit my cat for a blocked urinary tract. They have to keep him atleast 48 hours. I'm a mess and my cat is high AF right now. Vet won't give me any pain meds though... I asked.Need to think of a really good present for his homecoming. You pass a rock through your peepee you deserve a present.

Recovering well after ulnar nerve release surgery at the elbow to hopefully rid the numbness in my pinkie and ring finger. True pain wasn't even enough for a narcotic painkiller. An anti-inflammatory is enough. Get to take the surgical bandaging/brace off Wednesday to see what it looks like. Hoping for a real good result. Otherwise, I will definitely need neck surgery because of impingement of the same nerve as it exits the spinal canal and vertebra- which we hope is not a/the cause.Used a lot of RSO and slept it off for the last couple days. That was a really good way to go as opposed to being otherwise medicated with a narcotic for pain/rest/sleep.

Good Monday Morning! It's 77°, there is fog coming off the water and it supposed to get to 101° today.I got to see a young fox do a double take today. It was sniffing around out in front of the house. A squirrel came down the driveway not far away. The fox did a double take and dashed off after the fluffy tailed rat. I could not see if the fox was successful or not, I hope it was.

A sure cure would be to use your neighbor's table saw with all the safety guards removed and the blade extended all the way up... Just a simple rip of a piece of white oak trim, 5 minute job.... then a few hours at the ER. Mine was part of a thumb but I think this plan will work for a pinkie and ring finger too, just stop before you hit the "Frank You" finger. Just sayin'... it worked for me. As a bonus... I have one less finger nail to trim.
