Sitting at the emergency vet atm. Just had to admit my cat for a blocked urinary tract. They have to keep him atleast 48 hours. I'm a mess and my cat is high AF right now. Vet won't give me any pain meds though... I asked.

Need to think of a really good present for his homecoming. You pass a rock through your peepee you deserve a present.

Recovering well after ulnar nerve release surgery at the elbow to hopefully rid the numbness in my pinkie and ring finger. True pain wasn't even enough for a narcotic painkiller. An anti-inflammatory is enough.

Get to take the surgical bandaging/brace off Wednesday to see what it looks like. Hoping for a real good result. Otherwise, I will definitely need neck surgery because of impingement of the same nerve as it exits the spinal canal and vertebra- which we hope is not a/the cause.

Used a lot of RSO and slept it off for the last couple days. That was a really good way to go as opposed to being otherwise medicated with a narcotic for pain/rest/sleep.

We just had Popeye’s on Tuesday (…with some leftovers the next night too…). Daughter and her family LOVE their stuff so we usually have it once a month. Usually get the 15 pc. “deal” for $30.

A sure cure would be to use your neighbor's table saw with all the safety guards removed and the blade extended all the way up... Just a simple rip of a piece of white oak trim, 5 minute job.... then a few hours at the ER. Mine was part of a thumb but I think this plan will work for a pinkie and ring finger too, just stop before you hit the "Frank You" finger.

Just sayin'... it worked for me. As a bonus... I have one less finger nail to trim.

did the ulnar and carpal at the same time a few years ago...surgery fixed the problems but I hated the first several days of recovery. Arm felt like it weighed a ton for over 30 hours.

Been aggressively rubbing aloe and vitamin e on the elbow scar after showering daily and the scar is much less noticeable now.

Going in early AM tomorrow for just carpal on other hand, and repair "trigger finger" on pinkie same hand.
Told the doc liberals can't get trigger finger, but maybe I lost my exemption due to belief in the right to own guns.
Been having ulnar issue for a while too but I'll put it of as long as possible. Can't do without bendability in wrist and elbow at the same time on my right arm.

Better commence to sleeping soon...have to be on the road early.

I got a little concerned about exactly how that "aggressively rubbing" sentence was gonna end.

Beware, peoples, for another work week is nigh!

For those still stuck in that loop anyway

Armoring up for a day at the shpo.
Killed a Weekend Warrior Steps challenge.
43,000 steps in two days. 45 minutes in the cardio zone.
Great for my heart & lungs. The lower back is decidedly unhappy.

Good Monday Morning! It's 77°, there is fog coming off the water and it supposed to get to 101° today.

I got to see a young fox do a double take today. It was sniffing around out in front of the house. A squirrel came down the driveway not far away. The fox did a double take and dashed off after the fluffy tailed rat. I could not see if the fox was successful or not, I hope it was.

Welcome back to Monday fellas.

Gonna be a hot one this week. Forecast says 100F every day till Friday. But today's only gonna be 95.

I finish up at work tomorrow morning and I want to finish the patio this week, gonna be a lil sweaty.

Not complaining though. I'll take hot and humid over cold and grey any day.
