King wasnt the sharpest knife in the drawer before his encounter with the somewhat overly enthusiastic LAPD.

An LAPD friend of mine told me about 20 years ago, long before Rodney King, that he had had seen men on PCP who kept on coming at you after you whacked them on the head with a 2 by 4. The stuff makes them so numb you have to kill them to stop them. He didnt mention race. King didnt have cuffs on. They tried to put them on him but he resisted. That's retarded.

Not that the cops didn't go a little too far, but violence is never pretty. King in his career had beaten a man in a wheelchair with a steel pipe. Video of that would be ugly too.

Here's an example: a letter arrives in the mail advising that if the sender doesn't hear from you, he will assume you want to buy several tons of widgets. No smiley face or anything else following it, and then seeing the title of this post it made me wonder if it was true. So I asked a simple question, I didn't phrase it in an assuming fashion, nor did I use any derogatory comments towards him.

Instead of interjecting without all of the facts you should go elsewhere and let him answer if he decides to, and let me assume what I want to by his actions or inaction.
