1. None of my business, if there were a problem, I am sure Cbid would step in.

2. Don't see any reason why anything should change from what it is. So yes.

3. Don't recall. Think around 5 months.

Not to sound wrong or anything, but I have to agree with Rick, why is this an issue?

I'm ky70 (Ken) and I'm sorry you don't remember me as you have helped me out on several occasions in the past with my queries. I was just responding to a thread which was debating the "merits" of one Slim. It was inferred that the masses here were in favor of Slim's deeds. I simply pointed out that we really don't know how the masses feel and suggested (in just/and in seriousness) that a poll would determine that. I apologize if this deemed as a bit much, but with all the dishing out that Slim gives, I know he can take a little ribbing (as can I).

1) No. I think Slim is a bit heavy handed and enjoys when others "violate" the rules so that he can lay the smack down

2) Undecided...Slim may be a "necessary evil"

3) 16 months

What in the world is going on here? Slim does not "patrol the boards". He mereley lets you know if you have posted something wrong so that Cbid admin does not have to, and to keep this place running. never has he gotten out of line with his "slapping". Let it be. If you don't like it, don't post anything f'ed up so you don't have to get slim-slapped!!

I don't know what this is all about but... my answer is YES to all been here coming up on 4 yrs now... slim and I go way back but there ain't no damn way I'm touchin his Poll!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Depends. Slim can come across as being a butthole sometimes, but whether he really means to or not, I don't know. Other times, he can be very informative. I just hate it when he reccommends cigars...because whenever he does, if they're on CBid, the lot prices go through the roof, lol.

sketcha meant no harm in posting this thread. He just happened to take the bait of someone who has issues with me (for whatever reason) and was confident that the truth of the matter would prevail.

I take no pleasure in reminding folks when they "violate" the rules here, especially the ones that go against the guidelines that CB has set up for these forums. Sometimes it's just plain necessary, and it's something that I've done since the start of these forums ... and I have always had the full support of the staff of CB. All I am doing, is helping them out by performing a service that would otherwise force them into a uncomforatable confrontational situation between them and their customers, and it also helps to make their busy days much easier on them. They will aways have the final word ...

Cigarbid, for the most part, prefers to let us monitor ourselves as conscientious and responsible adults ... and will not step in unless it gets out of hand. Most of the time, there is no need for anyone to have to 'point out' anything, to anyone. But unfortuately, there are those who either don't read, understand, or just don't care to play by the rules.

... and those folks either need to be reminded, or in extreme cases removed, in order to keep the the peace, dignity, and the high quality that these forums have always strived to accomplish.
