Hey Slim,
Love ya guy, keep up the good work. I have been slimslapped, and it aint so bad. He may go a little overboard, but the forums would not be the same without him. I have only been here about 9 months, and have been Slimslapped more than once. Each time, it needed doing, I have appreciated the reasons. Without Slim, this forum, would probably not be as nice a place as it is. We would have all kinds of Digisles, posting here.

So far, I don't see a whole lot of people here who have a problem sooooooooooo, back to what I was doing....

1. In general, do you like the way Slim handles things on the CBid forum?

2. Do you feel he should remain the unofficial monitor of said forum?

Answer: In order to remain the unofficial monitor you're implying that I ever accepted the notion that he was anything other than just one of the guys who cares. About what I have no idea, but he cares!

3. How long have you been a contributing member here?

Answer: I take exception at being referred to as a member. However, my member has been hanging around this site for a few years without making any real contribution.

What Mr. Boli (mmmmmmmmmmBoliBoliBoli)brings to this forum is by all accounts in truth but not to be seen or misconstrude as weather or not the questions at hand may or may not be in accordance to what could, would, or should be any other than what may be is to say that there is a possible faction in turn yet may or may not disagree but to merely state that what is a certainty could also inhibit and or cause one to pontificate as to wheather said items could be expressed be merley claiming that once it is said that it would in fact be to the contrary or to ones liking as to state the points mentioned.

If you don't like Slim's comments, then fine, don't listen to it. If you like what Slim has to say, then fine too. No one should be discouraged from posting due to criticism from Slim or other members as long as your comments are kept civil and with no personal attacks. We all can be a$$holes once in a while, so you shouldn't take anything overboard, and remember its just a forum.

Slim is the Man!

The problem isn't Slimboli but the "Slimboli Effect." Slimboli seems to have sense enough to know when to say something and when to keep silent. Other members of the forum aren't so gifted and, wanting to be like Slimboli, flame the new guys for asking old questions or for proposing trades in places other than the trades board.

Then the herd of Slimboli wannabes piles on and collectively call upon Slimboli to publicly rebuke the offender.

The "Slimboli Effect" wouldn't be a problem if every post, and every member, that violated forum rules, both written and informal, received the same treatment. But they don't.

And there, in my humble opinion, lies the problem. Not Slimboli but the "Slimboli Effect."

What is funny, is since I got my new job (a couple of months now), I haven't had much time to post ... or even read the forums. ky70 admitted that he "took a break from Cigarbid and recently returned about 2 months ago" ... and I'm a bit puzzled as to what prompted him to 'all of a sudden' make issue with stuff that happened long ago ...

Surely, in ... 'Thread Subject: Cigarbid Shipping' ... I hope he honestly doesn't think that I thought he was complaining. I thought I was very civil in the answer I gave to him ... and all I did was answer his question.
