I was refrencing "Prom" night not her or her BF's sex life.... and the twist mhpd tossed this in the mix of Pat Tillmans death by friendly fire and not being a hero.. what I posted and refrence to teaching the Youngens about safe sex go hand in hand with bogus post of not "killing them" for prom activities... IE: and the way I read his post.. girl 16 going to prom with a senior 18-19... "Father" what Prom and after prom events consist of.. maybe your children are to old that you can remember what thoughts go through one's head as a parent at this event.. especially if it is your daughter??? I myself have two daughters 22, 17 so the memory is still really real.. and was just recently in the previous month brought back to life with my Step Daughter I am raising and her prom activities with a Junior and her being 15 yrs old.. here let me give you a Movie Refrence so yu can get a graphic as to what I was saying.. "Bad Boys II" rent it watch it and then post back.. there is a clip in the film about a boy taking this mans daughter to prom...

in my situation and this day and age.. AFFIRMATIVE Action is the only way to be.. IE: I told the boy who was taking my step daughter to Prom.. the same thing I told these other boy's who took my other two daughters to prom during their event.. "Son, if you so much as think of anything more sexual than Kissing with my daughter, you will be wearing your Balls as earings for the remander of the school year..."

So I took the lead on as to what mhpd was implying in his original post and ran with it.. in no way was it direct refrence to his daughter but many daughters..

Now the Service to the Country was dirctly applied to mhpd with refrence to his daughter and her BF if in fact the way I read his post he implied them and himself to be Hero's for making Prom.. and his steadfast to the event... I again Thank them for their service to this Country...

Happy Memorial Day Weekend MHPD...

MHPD: I just had dinner and cigars tonight with a good friend who received 2 purple hearts and a silver star in Vietnam. Because of him and countless thousands of others who chose to wear the cloth of this country's armed forces, the biggest worry in your simple life is your kid's prom. Thank God and our soldiers for that. And yes that includes Pat Tillman, the guy whose memory and service you decide to pi-s on from a great height on Memorial weekend.

We (some of us) work to keep this fine nation safe for some really amazing people...

I'm just sick and tired of hearing what a hero this guy was. He is just like everyone else. Quit whining about how he gave up cash to be a soldier. People do that all the time. Maybe not that much cash or that high profile, but there lives are just as important.

Get a new hero. Or make all soldiers the same hero. He ain't no better.

mhpd, those of us that have BEEN there, (and some of us are going back!) Do NOT raise Tillman above the rest of the fallen. EVERY life given in the service of ones country is a sacrifice that should be remembered by all of us, and Memorial Day weekend is just the exact time set aside for all of us to do that as one. YOU chose to denegrate the sacrifice made by ONE of MY BRETHEREN IN ARMS, and for that I hold you in lower regard than the slimey pusillanimous peices of excrement who attacked our nation on 9/11! At least they have the nerve to die for what they beleive in, wheras you can only defame those who defend you. I may not agree with what Hog said about your daughter, hell, I'm not even sure I understand what that's all about, but YOU brought her into this!

That being said... On this one I'll say this. In this one I'm probably closer to my conservative BOTL than the guy starting the thread. Tillman gave up millions for a principaled decision to serve his country in the aftermath of 9-11. He paid for his decision with lost millions and his life, more than the average "ultimate price". In the confusion and fog of war.. sh*t happens and some of that sh*t is friendly fire. Tillman's status as a hero has a lot more to do with the initial decision he made than the way he died. But I scratch my head when I say that because I think that there are many others who make this "heroic" decision to serve that get no press at all. I would have liked to see Pat Tillman's story associated with others giving up major things at home to make the decision to serve. What are their thoughts? It would be nice to get insight from other soldiers still living, giving up major career opportunities at home. I feel this whole story surrounding Tillman lacks depth (a long with a lot of other topics and news story these days!!!)

(or tried to) and for you to see an association to even out Sacrifice between giving up the ultimate to what one gives up at home.. and because you are not in connection to the actual daily events of Military Members...close to your area.. and Hark look on CNN or ABC,NBC,CBS they list the total force amounts deployed on the hour every hour.. you can see if you can rationalize past your own fanthums... there is give or take 160,000 members abroad covering Iraq and OEF..and many more state side, sacrificing so you and mhpd can post negative drivil about them.. or step on your tongue trying to cover up a major blunder as mhpd has done here for the Memorial day weekend... so please don't take this as a neo-con Attack.. the backlash will not work and you be able to twist this debate off Post topic...
