I could go into detail on why the rules in the old testament and yes Shawn cleanliness had a lot to do with it. I also know from a little experience that women enjoy it much more a few days before or a few days after. If you take the time to understand the times, cultures and why God had certain rules for His chosen people the Jew's,it's not all that far fetched. But that's always the case with unbelievers is they will quote the Bible knowing nothing about it or why things were the way they were. God set apart the Jew's to live to different standards. He had His reasons and if you want to live your lives and not acknowledging Him or making up your own set of rules He will gladly give you over to that. But as for myself I will always fight for the truth and the moral standards this country was founded on.If a person wants to live there life by seeking sexual fulfillment apart from God's plan, God will give them over to that. I have been there and you will never be fulfilled. You will see yourself getting older and older never being satisfied. It's like the first time shooting smack you will never feel that good again and it will take you down trying. I could sit here and type for hours and say what the truth is but I don't think some of you are seeking it because if you were you would find it.

Actually, after 8 years of Catholic school and attending church/bible study 3 times a week, I can say I know more about the Bible and religion then most people.

It's interesting when some rules are outdated and were for the people back then, yet other parts of Levitikus are quoted to show gays are sinful. Can't have it both ways. Which is it? Who gets to pick and choose? If I can pick what in the Bible is true and what's not, well sign me up!

I have two friends that are lesbians and live together as mates. One is a Christian, a true believer. I like to say believer because many say they are Christians and have no relationship with Christ. That's what true Christians are.

I have talked to both of them many times. The one that is a Christian knows the other is not saved. She is not only in a sinful relationship sexually but also with a unbeliever. There relationship is very turmoil and they break up and get back together often. I know the one is saved and that I will see her in heavin but often wonder if she is keeping her partner in darkness by her sin. She as I will be accountable to Jesus for our sin. She will be in heavin because She does have a relationship with Christ. But her partner will be in hell and maybe because she kept her in that darkness. I don't know but what a awfull thing to find out someone you loved is not with for etenity because of your sin. I care for both of them and like them very much for who they are not what they do. I would like to see both of them in eternity.

dapperdan, are you the new Christ? Are you able to judge what is sinful and what is not? Are many of these out of context? You bet they are, but when argueing with Christians, one must use the same tactics they use.

First off I never claimed to be Christ but to have a relationship with Him. The scriptures you quoted to me were totally taken out of context John 8-15 is Jesus talking to the Pharisees saying they are judging Him not knowing the facts.

James 4-11 again taking out of context read the whole passage.

James 2-4 again taking out of context It's talking about looking at a person as to what they have not how they act or what they do.Judging someone on there looks.

Your right my job is not to judge a person eternally, but I can call sin sin according to the Bible. You can reinterpret the Bible how ever you want to fit your view points. But I don't think you really care to seek the truth.

This is the problem I have with most Christians. Not you necessarily, but I see the Bible being manipulated to prove unreasonable and un-Christian idea all the time. I have cousins that participate in scripture competition to see who can name versus on command. Yet if I ask them what it means, every participant it clueless. And nobody has informed me on why Christians believe homosexuality is a sin.

Thats right MACS(SW) saved by grace and grace alone by our relationship with Jesus, he paid the price. But I still have no problem calling sin what it is and defending the morals this country was founded on.

I wanna know why the gay people are being held to higher standards? I mean there are plenty of "non gay" folks who get married and then divorce shortly there after and not much is said about them. I personally have no issue with same sex divorces. If the marriage ain't right, it ain't right.

Besides the act itself, I believe that Dan's specific scriptures make it readily evident that homosexuality is a sin. Also remember, that it's not just homosexuality, other acts such as adultery, bestiality, and wanton sex are lumped in as well.
