how come zombies are so slow..?? wouldn't they be cooler if they could run like 30mph or so..?? 😕

If they were not eaters of human flesh, yes.

Since they dine on you and me, no. I prefer the granny speed...gives me time to pump the shotgun between attacks.

They are the undead. Their flesh is no longer alive. They are fueled only by evil, and an insatiable desire to nibble on your liver and lungs. Their motor skills are deteriorating all the time, as the brain atrophies, and the nervous system corrupts. They get progressively slower. Which allows for multiple gunshots when they attack...which is important. Some of those suckers take a LOT of ordinance to down. Then you have to blast the parts into pieces that can't keep coming at you.

You have to balance out attributes amongst the various creatures..

Could a vampire be turned into a vampire zombie?

Perhaps it depends on the strain of undead evil they catch...gotta say, though, they seemed kinda slow in Zombieland.

There was a British zombie flick...I can't remember the name...I'm not at home...so I can't look on my hard drives...the zombies could run up the walls and do backflips...it was cool.

Zombie speeds depend on the infection they get, imo. Some zombies, like George Romero's, are infected by radiation and rot, and that's why they shuffle and walk. Others, like those in 28 Days Later, run because they aren't undead, they're just people infected by a virus that gives them extreme rage. It also depends on the writer.
