Smoked cigar #2 from Chazbo tonight. It was a 5" 54rg with a dark brown slightly toothy wrapper. It had a very heavy feel to it. Preflight draw was light tobacco with a bit of cedar. The burn was perfectly smooth, with initial ash holding for close to 2". Light leather taste through the first half wit hints of cedar and a littletangyness to it. Through the 2nd. Half the tang faded to a mellow smoke. Superb burn and I enjoyed down to the nub. because of the toothy wrapper I'm guessing mid range, but would absolutely smoke another. My first thoughts on it were visage so I'm gonna stick with thar, but wouldn't be surprised to find out it was an Ashton VSG.

Nice looking cigar. Possibly 5 1/2 x 50, with a slightly veiny dark brown wrapper.
Not much of a pre light aroma, but draw was easy.
No pepper or spice whatsoever throughout the entire smoke. Not much flavor or kick . . . just a mild uneventful smoke.
It wasn't a bad experience. The draw was real easy and there was a lot of smoke. Burn was perfect beginning to end, so
I wouldn't necessarily call it a dog rocket.

Wild guess . . . Genesis the Project ?

Coming in as a hefty 4 x 45
Dark brown wrapper, minimal veins, tight visible seams. Toothy oily satin wrapper. Wonderful humidor aroma.
Tight pack with a perfect draw with just enough resistance.
First light kinda harsh essence of a candle bring blown out but quickly transformed into a very dark leather, with a chewy woody finish.
Getting into the first third I'm picking up on a bitter bakers chocolate on the retrohale, followed by a very peppery long finish.
Going into the second third no changes in flavor. The bakers chocolate is completely gone now, taking over the dark leather, with a fiery pepper finish. It's burn is razor sharp and getting abit hot. Hard not to hit a cigar your not enjoying. I'm going to let it cool down a bit as I get into the last part.
Getting into the last third I had to touch it up just alittle, nothing major.
Wood has come back out, pepper is durn near at full strength but is going down easy with a root beer. I nubbed it. Very good smoke.

Not as peppery as I remember them being. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this was
The Baitfish.

This cigar being the mid range will be on my list to buy more if it is not already, as it feels really familiar. What was it? And I apologize for the underwhelming review on this one.

First inhale brought a nice spice to da tongue. As I thought about how this was a good thing, the next puff went straight to creamy leather notes. That spice was gone. The cigar had perfect draw with plenty of smoke. For the next hour I was in heaven. The cigar was as smooth as a babies butt. Ash held straight for over two inches before I knocked it off. Great burn. Just pass the half way point the flavors remained the same but it picked up in strength to med-full. This was a very good stick. If it had that spice I picked up on during that first hit at the end this would be a 10.
