they are also provided some limited immunity from prosecution not available to ordinary citizens...

so they are rightfully held to higher standards

but this higher standard does not mean we can declare open season on law enforcement if they fail to live up to the standards...a police force that distrusts and is fearful of the people they serve is incapable of serving well...

His opinion probably shifted though... haven't been keeping up.

So the logic goes... all looters are protesters therefore all protesters are looters.

K, got it. So the only way to not be a looter is to not protest. Makes sense.

So I should definitely lock my doors when driving past a pro life rally.

Everyone loves the first ammendment till they have to hear the whiney people they don't agree with... then they all must be looters and rioters. It's true by the above logic.

Keep in mind... this post isn't an argument for either side of the specific topic at hand.
