Congratulations on the happy event! If it was me, and it won’t be for a few years, but if it was I would agree with Palama. Some nicer Gurkhas and Macanudos. Nothing too strong unless you know of some people who would definitely appreciate the strong stuff.
I certainly wouldn’t spend a ton of dough on what will likely be lit, puffed a few times, and then tossed.
Either way it will be a great day!!

It occurred to me that "short story" may not be the best name for the occasion. 🤔

Something about a horse, some water and drinking. But, I’m sure you didn’t expect much more.

There are worse cigars than Gurkhas. Not perfect but I’ve had some that were quite decent and the price was right.
You want to throw Hemingways at folks that’s cool.
I smoke what I like and don’t necessarily buy into a lot of hype, good or bad.
Now about that Yugo…

The wedding is at a place called Hemingway’s. If you reread the initial post you’ll realize he wants to get something from AF’s Hemingway line to be consistent with the location.

Between the Lines is a Hemingway vitola.

Frank, buy a box of smaller format Cubans like Coronitas en Cedro. Everyone will be happy to smoke a Cuban whether or not they finish it. And, nothing says someone couldn't smoke two, right?

I happen to have always loved the CenC. Probably last bought a box at like $90 and was shocked it had gone up from the $76 I paid before! Fainted when I saw the price a few months ago!

OK, as much as I love Cuban cigars and despite the fact that I no longer keep an inventory (pretty much buy to smoke a week or three at a time) the connection is what Anth is trying to clarify...

The wedding venue is on the grounds of The Hemingway House and Museum in Key West...this link tells more than the main web page but feel free to research more.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_Hemingway_House

So, several of the AF Hemingway cigars are pretty frankin' good and they connect to this venue where he once lived.
He also had a deep connection to cigars and Cuba, but this line of smokes connects the dots.
