The one thing that he has right is that every American citizen has a right to protest in a legal manner. You do not have the right to break traffic laws, disrupt emergency vehicles (it's now a law here in Oh that if you do not get out of the way of an emergency vehicle then you will be ticketed). These are a few examples of laws that are being broken by the protestors that disrupt traffic across our great country.

Rick,
Forum banter is allowed to be "childish" when an attempt at humor is being made.
The "welfare check" comment was to highlight Ken's overtones of entitlement. He feels compelled to offer a "protest anything" theme, without giving thought as to how he obtained those freedoms to begin with.
So perhaps I missed the humor target yet again. I can deal with that.
Perhaps you should also.

Shame on you, you should know your movie quotes better than the above post shows. John Wayne would have said, and did say many times, "Listen and listen good" or "Listen and listen good, Pilgrim" etc, not Clint Eastwood.

This mornings local radio news reported that protestors in Oakland are blocking Military supplies from being sent out of the marina.

How many examples of illegal activity does it take to convince you left wingers that "these type"of protests are anti- American. Now our troops who are depending on these supplies will get them a little later than planned.

Also this morning reports from Bagdad indicate, that citizens are now realizing that Saddam is going DOWN. The people are now feeling less threatened by the government and are taking up arms against Saddams army.

The liberation of the people will come soon. The protestors are so into themselves, that this news from Bagdad isnt sinking in.

The citizens are happy that we are there, for the most part. I know there are some that are still loyal to Saddam, but they look to be a small minority.

"don't think the U.S. has any business in forcing a colonial economic system on the rest of the world"

I believe Sept 11th alone gave us the "business".

The were 4 people with signs saying "honk for peace" and "no war!" on my way home. Needless to say that nobody honked, but they sure got a lot of hand gestures!

When will they realize they were wrong?

Half a peace sign? Does that mean have a piece instead of have a peace? 🙂

I wanted to make a sign and join them...it was going to be something like "These people are wrong!" What could they do to me? It's my right!

Rick, are you like Zeus? Hurling lightening bolts from on high? Could you try to put a sentence or two together to form a paragraph and perhaps a cohesive thought? Did they loose your prescription again?

Rick,
I even added: "to buy a clue".

I thought you knew me better than that. I thought we were becoming "one".
Like two halves of a horse costume.

I'm the horse's head...
