The Preferidos by La Aurora was the first cigar manufactured in the Dominican Republic back in 1903. Its beautiful, unique shape was designed to offer a perfect smoke of varying intensities. Preferidos, the cigar that established the cigar-making tradition of the Dominican Republic, is now rolled once again in limited quantities to mark a century of excellence and dedication to cigar-making.

The 92-rated Connecticut variety combines a beautiful true Connecticut wrapper grown in the USofA (one that has been aging for 7+ years) with superior long-fillers from Brazil, Cameroon, and the Dominican to promote a richer-than-expected core of tobacco flavors. Taking things up a notch, the Sapphire Tubos employ only the finest, oldest tobaccos which have been aged in old oak barrels, giving the bouquet a lovely sweetness. The smoke is silky-smooth with notes of coffee, cedar, toast, and cream. In a word....dee-lish.
