Morning all.

The last thread was a lot taming then some. But I guess all the C&P's were a bit much. Let's hope this thread makes it to 500 or else we ar egoing to have to start calling them the 200+ threads since we can't seem to get them much past that.

Thanks all for the well wishes for the car. It is really nice. I love it. Shame that my Mom will be driving it for the next week instead of me. I didn't know when we planned her visit that I would be getting a new car the day before her arrival. Oh well.

Cat. Sorry I couldn't answer last night. I was driving home from getting the car and my phone has been acting up. As soon as I got there we had to leave to deliver a big cigar order. If you need me send me an email and I will give you my work number.

Kaboom...Is that the future of CBID?

"Kaboomed by Steve R"?

Thanks. I have been reading the owners manual all morning. It has a garage door opener built into the sun visor. I was trying to program it this morning but couldn't get it to work. Apparently our garage door opener must have multiple security codes. But at least now I know how to fix it.

Why do people only give one set of keys with a used car? There was only one owner. She should have had another set. I can't believe she only had 1 key. The keys have chips in them so you have to go to a dealer to get them made. And they are apparently expensive. There is also only one key fob too. I can't even imagine how much that would cost.

MORNING RAM! LOL

Morning to everyone else as well.

Lauren, those keys ARE expensive. When we bought my Escape, I have the coded keys as well. This way if someone tries to steal your car, they won't get far without the key. Car won't start with it. They are expensive to get replaced if lost. Over one hundred bucks if I recall.

I just called the dealer. YIKES is right.

The keys are $52.79 each plus a $30 set up fee. The fobs are $75.70 each.

Time to trade that car back in. Costing too much already.

Stick with something from the 80's.

"Kaboomed by Steve R"

Now THAT would make one heck of a way to advertise a special pricing deal on cigars.

(think late night used car dealer commercials)

Unless SteveR has a history of exposure to damaging porn, I doubt you'll see an epidemic of "Kaboom"-ing here.

Burgess...you guess I rubbed you the wrong way?
Might not have even been me?
Where was this?
Don't give me an anatomical location.
Was this at Macy's?

Lemme 'splain sumthin' to ya. When I rub people the wrong way, they dang well remember it. I've spent years perfecting my wrong-rubbing abilities and I'm sort of taken aback that you are not even certain it was me what done it.

I think I oughta have a Gold Medal in wrong-rubbing, yet your post suggests I need more practice?

I can't reconcile such vast disparity.
I am going to have a drink and ponder this.

Allright, I think I understand.
I'll overlook such a blatant slight this time.
What are you drinking?
I haven't got any sangria.
How 'bout some blueberry vodka?

So, you want the part of Cathy in the stage play or the silver screen? Ok.

I hope you're a method actor, this might not work out too well otherwise.

A Saab-story, eh?

I used to have a 87 900s that had been modified with the SPG suspension and a higher-performance exhaust and intake.

Thing manuvered like a frickin' slot-car, fun as all hell to drive, but what a f**king Saab-story PITA that was whenever it needed a repair.
