#137 - it is easy to get defensive towards people who you don't know about things you think they do or don't know. i don't claim to know everything about this "popcorn seller" and i usually do only stick to C&R threads cuz that's why i joined both boards. after reading a lot of past threads it seems there has been a great amount of $hit tossing from both sides. while i have no dog in this fight i do find it troubleing that some people assume that all players from one team thinks that everyone agrees with the play that is called. no offense taken.....

can't we all? yeah. i am gonna tell you something crazy. there is a guy who is pretty good over there...no qualms whatsoever (ok, i might have misspelled qualms). however, over here--i do not like him...and when i say do not like, i mean in my years at the THREE cigar places, he is in my top 5 of bad people.

why is that? good and horrid--same guy, different site.

151--TRUE...i could not agree more. and i will admit my ignorance of the situation (as i have not read that thread over there)...and you stipulate that it is probably that most of the people in the mystery thread ignorantly jumped on the "hey, jj is OUR kinda guy" bandwagon.

ok, don't need to admit anything. as i said, it is human nature. the dog you know is always better than the dog you don't.

and as you well know...this crap goes in cycles, and will be a memory come spetember...school starting has a great way of distracting us from what is totally unimportant.

#154...i guess it is the case for some but i don't understand or accept it. i use the same handle on many differnt boards and the one thing people can be sure of, is if they know me from one board they know me.

#159, I can say the same. I use the same handle at five different boards. I act the same way at each board. If I am not someone's cup of tea, so be it. There are some that are not mine.

Hit enter the wrong button...

But there are some people who do change their skins in order to get along at another site. I have seen this happen a few times. But eventually, their true colors do show.

HD--you make me laugh...well, except with the pro-french stuff...well, ok, then too...but sometimes i wonder, "did he REALLY want france to beat the US in teh relay???"

but if i am asking these questions, then you, sir, have succeeded in your campaign of disinformation.

Cooper,

There isn't a single 2008 date on RP's web-event calendar. Have to go all the way back to Dec 2007 to see anything.

Linc might not be pulling your leg.

This is beginning to sound like a comedy skit.

TG, we bought the 9-5 over the 9-3 because the trunk & storage space was mucho bigger.

JR-

I refuse to acknowledge the existance of the 9-5's.

They're too much like normal cars to be called Saabs.

900's aren't bad from the front - side profile they are all farked up though.

My favorite thing about the car was the ignition.

That was soo much fun. I lost count of the number of tire shop guys and valets I giged with that thing. Watching some of them try and find the ignition was just pure comedy gold.

Driving the 9-5, you know you're not in a normal car.

And regarding the other critizism, OK, fine. But it's a great car. Especially when I stomp the gas on the roads of NJ.

I was talking about looks. The 9-5 looks too much like any number of Japanese imports.

We already established that Saab performance is a whole lotta fun.

Yeah Cooper, nothing says "Manly Car" like a Peterbilt with a Jeff Gordon bumper sticker and license plate frame.

That last JJ thread had some pretty great "encoded" messages.........that took a lot of work to derail that thread, its a real shame the threadjacks didn't "take".

It's my fault it got yanked.

Daveincincy posted a link to a youtube video of Kymbya and I commented that the video would would make an excellent video to overdub with "Never Gonna Give You Up" and that I was going to go fire up Womble (video editing software).

After that, poof. Thread was gone.

Yes, it's confirmed. Steve hates my boss, Rick Astley.

That would make a FANTASTIC video to overdub with "Never Gonna Give You Up"!

I've got some editing to do.

Thanks MAN!
