Great album. Supper's Ready is one on my favorite songs. Watcher of the Skies pretty awesome, as well.

Sinatra !

I was never much of a Sinatra fan, but I just watched a PBS documentary called,
"Sinatra: The Voice of Our Time", and got a whole new appreciation for the man, as well as his music.
Very interesting and informative, but I still think Tony Bennett has a better voice.

ABSOLUTELY !
"Gratitude" has been one of my favorite albums, EVER !
Back in the mid 70's, when I was young and crazy, and living in a big old house that was as close to the
Delta Tau Chi Fraternity in the movie "Animal House" as you could get, "Gratitude" was a staple at our parties.

I had it on, in the car, yesterday, while on a mini "road trip" ! Sooooooooo good !

I called into a radio request line a few years ago to request 21st Century Schizoid Man, and the radio station said they couldn't play it....I asked why not, and the person on the phone stated that they weren't allowed to play any King Crimson....strange, but I never followed up on it

I'm not surprised they wouldn't play 21st just for the 7+ min runtime, but yeah a straight up ban on the group is a bit befuddling. Maybe they were Stephen King fans. Crimson King is a running evil figure through several of his novels

Queen - a comp disc of their greatest hits and a favorite or two

Back in the day I was never what you’d call a “fan” of them but did somewhat enjoy their music. Did recognize the talents of Freddie and Brian May but not enough to buy their albums. Fast forward to the release of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. Our daughter and her family became big fans so began hearing Queen again. I watched the movie, read up on the group members and thought I’d overlooked them long enough and put together my own favorites disc.

Van Morrison - The Prophet Speaks

Love Van’s old stuff but don’t keep up with his newer albums. This one came out last December...only a couple songs in, so far it’s okay.

Good audience recording. Mellow solo acoustic and piano set followed by a full electric set with Crazy Horse.

82F / 66% RH / 12 mph - tradewinds are back so much cooler, less humid

Saw Lee years ago, probably early to mid-70s. Chuck Berry opened and blew the crowd away. That's when "My Ding-a-Ling" was still popular. Lee and Frosty valiantly tried but never stood a chance.

I didn’t care for it either...the song but was super cool to see one of the originators of rock ‘n roll. Chuck was a great showman.

I’ve always preferred Keith’s solo stuff over Mick’s but that’s not necessarily saying a whole lot.

The Young Rascals - Collections

Grew up listening to these guys. Brings back lotta memories.

Saw them as The Young Rascals in ‘66 or ‘67 then a year later when they dropped the “Young” appendage and were just “The Rascals.” The screaming from the girls was so LOUD that I could barely hear the music. Saw them again in ‘71 during their “Peaceful World” tour but no screaming girls this time.

Keith Richards - Crosseyed Heart

Recommended by Jade. Laughed at the end of the first track when he exclaims, “...That’s all I got.”...

The second and 3rd cuts are promising.

84F / 58% RH / 12 mph - brutally warm and humid earlier, much better now

bunch of Smashing Pumpkins rarities, outtakes, reissues, etc.

Thought I was a pretty big fan, but there's so much that I've still never heard....most great; though, I could have done without an SP cover of Jackie Blue

I know there's LOTS of Billy Corgan haters in the world....but can't honestly deny his genius
