Ask me why Victor? I enjoy our loving sword fights (see what I did there?) and I posed the question at the beginning out of curiosity of BSA choice and its cause. Not as an experiment to quantify a scientific theory I matly have or call names like you do sometimes with a thread that is controversial. Really a much more simple question than what this thread has morphed into but we all have our roles here. Georgetown hero or Conservative heel ( <----wrestling terms......see what I did there?) I think we all enjoy being here and some like me, Bloody and others enjoy challenging our own convictions and listening to a differing opinion.

YMMV.

I feel like I should print this out and frame it.... maybe with some red lipstick marks on it.. :)

YMMV... definitely your momma moans "victor"... If I had a nickel for the number of milfs I've done dirty things to....

No, it's only gay if you lube it up and shove it up your butt.

The Boy Scouts of America has decided to delay its vote on a proposal to allow local troops to decide whether to allow openly gay members and leaders. The organization said it needs more time to get input from its members. The vote will now be held in May.
"After careful consideration and extensive dialogue within the Scouting family, along with comments from those outside the organization, the volunteer officers of the Boy Scouts of America’s National Executive Board concluded that due to the complexity of this issue, the organization needs time for a more deliberate review of its membership policy," the Scouts said in a statement.
Until a vote is taken, it appears the organization will continue its ban on gay Scouts and Scout leaders.

So if you shove it up your butt un-lubed then it isn't gay?

I vote:

Bowing to pressure, forced to change in order to survive.

They're afraid to lose funding if they don't.
For example, ten years ago, 24% of funding came from the United Way...In the wake of the atheist attack, it is now down to 10%.
I believe the effort to make up the shortfall switched the focus from implementing quality programs.

In addition:
The BSA has recently taken a huge gamble of turning 10,000 acres of West Virginia wilderness into a premiere National Scout Reservation to the tune of $400 million.
Initial funding of $50 million for The Summit Bechtel Reserve came from Bechtel Corp., an engineering and construction firm.
One of the "Bechtel Covenants" is "Diversity and Inclusion"
Imagine the embarrassment if one of Bechtel's recipients didn't share the same profound beliefs.

IMO the BSA is losing it's appeal and relevancy in this rapidly evolving society. I'm afraid to believe the BSA will not even exist 25 years from now.

I was in the robins or bluejays can't remember which was which, but my successfully led panty raid was not well received. I was a one term camper.

Having never been a scout, I have to ask; Will scouting (boy and girl) become obsolete because of the growing popularity of GPS’s?

Only 2 pennies? Is that because 2 people (milfs?) each paid him .01 for his thoughts?

In other words, they're trying to figure out a way to please all the people all the time. I'm guessing my grandkids won't even know what Boy/Girl scouts are...gone like the 8-track, vinyl record, and cassette tape.

Uh, Frankie sang "big GIRLS don't cry".

I believe DMV was whispering the line from a 10CC song.
