Picked up a bottle of regular old Buffalo Trace yesterday. I was amazed to find it at the grocery store of all places.

My Dad's drink.

Made him hundreds of highballs. Never liked the smell or taste of it but would give anything to make him another....

It’s definitely a favorite of mine, I find myself drinking scotch a lot more in the winter time than summer, idk why really

Agreed. I’ve got half a bottle left in the beer/whiskey closet. Got it 3 years ago before the price went crazier

Good stuff! Will be sad when the last of my bottle gets drunk. Prices to get another one are a wee bit too much.

That's about when I got mine, opened it last night and finished it last night with some help. Looks like this years release is about $50 more and only 10 yr.

well, you've done it again.
saw it today for the first time, paid 23 clams. Worth it.
Wasn't blown away with tons of nuances, but probably the easiest sipping bourbon at 100 proof out there.
A little vanilla, not much else for me, but I only poured one finger...
No water, no ice, no burn.

I can get EC BP for $60 don’t think I’d go to $124 for the 18.

Old Tub has character but it’s got tougher edges than I care for, definitely one that has a “neck pour”.

Got a bottle of Old Tub... was $18.99 and $20.65 after local taxes. Also snagged a bottle of Shieldag 18 at the recommendation of the scotch dude at the store. For $54.99 a bottle I don't think I can complain even if it isn't exactly to my liking.

We never see either of these EC on the shelves. When my local offers me something good at msrp, I jump. If you don’t they will move you down the list. I’ve also gotten a bottle of Weller 12 and one of Elmer for 30$ each over the last year....

Damn.....I have t seem W12 or Elmer here for years.

Use to be able to get WSR, WA and ETL at will for msrp.

If you need a ECBP lemme know. It’s C920
